I have not yet discovered how to track what scripts have been collected. Grimoires show in a new tab of the skills dialog, and ink is in the craft bag in its own misc category, but where do I see scripts? They need to be “used” for curation, but then they’re no longer in inventory. Where do they go?

The scraps that add up to the Class script are counted under Achievements/Gold Road/Scribing. There’s a Class achievement ther that shows the running count, and completes at 50 for the character. But then that Script will be somewhere else.

My newest character is still doing Undaunted dailies, so she gets a guaranteed Affix script from it. Going to the Scholarium, I can see them in the available list, but that’s not the most convenient way to find out.

Open your skills menu and select the grimoire icon. Then left (I think) click on one and it will bring up the appropirate sub scripts that can be used for that grimoire. Gosse showed me that and it is better than nothing but still not very helpful. UESP wiki is slowly catching up on scribing and is already fairly helpful so worth checking out. Buffy the templar has been doing two West Weald dailies and one each MG, FG, undaunted delve dailies each day and each of them seems to provide her a new script each day so far.

Still a mystery but even reviewing what the 'big kids' (Alcast, Deltia, Hack, etc) say, I don't see any scribed skill in the running to replace anything Buffy already has slotted. The pretty colors are nice though - yay for blue vigor!

I get the impression that Scribing will be used to fill in some gaps, such as a class not having access to a buff/debuff via normal skills. I am looking at the possibilities of tanking with weapons other than sword and board or staff. Taunt and Pull focus scripts with an AoE Grimoire adds something new, too.

I was intrigued that the spell Buffy scribed as part of the questline provided major breach. As a templar she gets that from the Night Mother Gaze set so it wouldn't be terrible to get it via a skill. But as an Oakensoul mage, skill slots are at a premium and any skill she slots has to be a great one to earn a slot. The wardens get major breach from shalks which a great skill so no concern there. As a magsorc, she gets her major breach from Elemental Susceptibility. So the magsorc compared EleSus to the scripted skill from the questline. EleSus is cheaper, lasts twice as long, does a tiny bit more damage and costs nothing - so EleSus wins on that one.

She also runs a constant HoT on herself and her companion to proc spell power cure and keep the companion healthy. So she could be interested in crafting a good HoT - but I really can't see any of the scripting possibilities beating Vigor on that count with its radius of 15M and duration of 15 seconds.

I discovered that you can get from any wayshrine to the Scholarium by selecting The Aurbis, then the Eyevea circle link on the left, and the Scholarium link is at the bottom of that map, as another circle link. Three links, but faster than going to Skingrad and running through town.

This is a huge help, thank you so much!!! I am still doing the quests in there; has anyone gotten the horse yet?

Completed the scribing questlines on both EU and NA. Mixed feelings about the questline in general. The lore, the books, some of the individual quests were excellent, leading up to a very nice resolution. My enthusiasm was tempered slightly by some of the most painful, repetitive fetch quests I've ever experienced, which gave me the sensation of them just being there to pad things out. Which I don't think was needed, as the scribing story was strong enough without that. But, hey ho...

I don't currently have enough luminous ink to actually start experimenting with the skills themselves yet, but a couple do look like they could be quite useful, though a little dubious about the 2 second cast time both of those skills have. Time (and more ink) will tell.

Ditto on the repetition. That was really dragging them out and was already a source of irritation before the Indirik questline ended, lol. (like, "we got the picture ZOS; now can we get on with the quest?")

I didn't realize the spells were actually costing me anything and was switching back and forth between the damage and the healing one to test them out = ran out of ink suddenly and couldn't get out of the healing one, lol. So now I have "Crushing Shock" back on there till I can get more ink.

Does anyone know = will there be other things added to our book over time? And how will we find/add them?

I am always fascinated by how adept you are at juggling so many Buffy variants and knowing what each can do to either inflict the most damage or heal the greatest possible = running constant HoT to proc Spell Power Cure is a totally inspired and amazing idea; that was Awesome to read!!!! I wonder how many Healers don't think of that; because I used to run with a Healer that wore that armor and he didn't think of doing that (his armor would have proc'd more if he did).
