So, don't want to get Storn killed? Don't want to be Herma-Mora's bitch?

Still want to do the Dragonborn main quest?

Here is how to do it through the console.

;Copy everything below to a text file and place it in your Skyrim\Data folder.
;While playing, run it from the console by typing the following:

;It will skip over most of Gardener of Men by setting the quest stage.
;It will also echo all the text below in the game's console, for easy reading.

;This will skip past the parts of the Dragonborn main quest that require you to become Mora's slave
;and result in the death of Storn.
;Run this after unlocking the Black Book 'Epistolary Acumen', in Nchardak, but do not read it!

;Read the Black Book - Waking Dreams to travel to Apocrypha.
;or at the console type COC DLC2ApocryphaOrigin

;Use the console to teach yourself the final two words to Bend Will

;Use the console to give yourself 2 Dragon Souls

;Use the two new souls to unlock the final two words to Bend Will

;Fight your way through Apocryhpa. Reach the Word Wall for Dragon Aspect and learn it.
;The dragon Sahrotaar will arrive. Use Bend Will on him to fly to the final battle.
;Slay Miraak

;After the battle, return to the Skaal Village. Storn will be missing.
;Use the following console command to return Storn
;Player.PlaceAtMe xx017935
;again the value of xx depends on where the Dragonborn DLC is in your load order

;This leaves Neloth. You will find him still back at Nchardak with the Black Book 'Epistolary Acumen'.
;Go back to Neloth with the following console command:
;Coc DLC2Nchardak00
;select him, and then use the following command to remove him from the world:
;Disable
;Travel to Tel Mithryn with the following command:
;Coc DLC2TelMithryn
;Once inside his tower, restore Neloth to the game with the following command:
;Player.Placeatme xx01773A
;This should put him back in the game with him following his normal routines.

;Don't respawn him outside his tower, as he seems to get stuck out there, and won't offer services.


;You can read the Black Book 'Epistolary Acumen' now, and it will take you to a series of levels in Apocryhpa.
;You cannot finish the levels since the quest Gardner of Men is completed. You will have to fast travel or COC back.
;You can still do all the other Black Books if you want.

Agreed - they tell you to Play it Your Way, then force you into these quest lines that let you play it as anything but. I really dislike the DB quest line for that reason - it made it difficult to role play my Dragonborns, and is one of the main reasons I never brought Julian to TESV.
