What did you guys from overseas think?!

And not-over-seas of course, I thought it was pretty epic! The hospital act was a bit meh as well as music through the ages, but the industrial revolution and Hey Jude were inspiring. Not forgetting Mr. Bean and the Queen, very humorous!

Speaking as one who doesn't give a monkeys one way or the other about the Olympics...

I enjoyed the Bond thing at the start, I did enjoy the NHS thing but only because of Mike Oldfield and yes, Rowan Atkinson was amazing...Other than that...I was asleep...Too damned late for me... biggrin.gif ...

Apparently it was very good though...

The kids are enjoying the ping-pong...Sorry...Table tennis at the mo...

I thought it was pretty good, but as usual, the part where each country comes in INDIVIDUALLY was dull as anything. Although it is pretty hard to make something like that interesting.

I'm sad that Atkinson wasn't the one lighting the cauldron (I was hoping for a scene where he would grab the torch off of some old guy taking forever to climb up a flight of stairs or something).

But yeah, pretty good all around!
