I meant some games are way too hard considering theyīre meant for kids (from 7 and up), I didnīt mean you specifically. Sometimes I think I should just stop making posts here. Everyone seems to think I take shots at them all the time and that Iīm being serious This post has been edited by mirocu: Nov 29 2013, 05:20 PM

Except for almost everyone who leaves. Anyways this thread has inspired me. I think I need to buy an old school NES system (mine gave out years ago) and play some of these games over again. My NES collection is like 40+ games.

40+ games!?? You gotta, oh please you gotta give me a full list!!! I still have my original NES console in full working condition. Surprising really, considering how many games me and my brother have played on it! I never had Silver Surfer or Dr Jekyll and mr Hyde but Iīve seen footage on youtube and those games are not kind ones To be fair part of them are duplicates because my brother had a NES as well. They're all in storage because I haven't had a working system in so long. Unfortunately there are several small parts that stop working inside them that lead to power flashing off/on and or randomly cutting out/freezing. On a console that you can't save your game on it is more than a little annoying. Also, I just read that there are over 700 titles on the NES. I never would have guessed there were so many. How much does a NES go for now anyways?

It varies alot depending on condition and such of course, but a good one here can go for about 400-500 up to over 1000 crowns. Donīt know what that is in dollar, though... The Castlevania games. What makes these games so hard is one simple thing; when you get hit you fly backwards like ten feet and thereīs always a pit behind you nullifying your full health bar This post has been edited by mirocu: Nov 30 2013, 01:18 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Dec 7 2013, 12:37 PM) Iīd like to mention the Point Lookout DLC. What makes it hard is the enemies that deal much more damage than anything in the Capital Wasteland. The DLC itself may not be that hard but the enemies make it hard to survive at least. Iīve never spammed so many stimpaks as when I got to that place! I got the same impression from that DLC.

Canīt believe I havenīt mentioned Shadowgate for the NES. Itīs simply the greatest game Iīve ever played on this system, it has an atmosphere thatīs undiscribably good. But itīs also very hard and itīs so easy to die in this game. You think that sword is your primary weapon? Try and use it and think again Unless you know exactly what to do at any given moment, youīre gonna see the Grim Reaper. Some puzzles are pretty hard to solve and sometimes you just have to figure out by trial and error what works and what doesnīt. Though most of the time you can figure it out if you examine the items and environments closely enough. Very good game but also very hard, at least it was for me. Though as long as you remember the whole game you could probably go through it without dying once. But stay on your toe, the slightest slip of your mind could mean your last!
