Err, anyway. Judging by everyone else's opinion, it's a no. And I'll join them, sorry. Now I'll be honest and admit that I did catch your playground post, but was too busy to reply because I had something trivial to do for school. (What do you mean, I have to hand it in today? I thought the deadline was friday! AAH!!!)

Yeah, godmode or not, it would have been hard to justify him in the story. He is a pretty damn original character but ironically, that's also part of the problem in his case. Unless he went around to hypnotize everyone (which would be godmoding in a way), everyone would question his presence and boot him out of the caravan asap.

Now your Dunmer on the other hand, looks mighty fine. I'm off to reply to him now.

Well, I suppose, since you started the RP, everyone is looking to you as kind of a DM. Judging from your response, it looks like it's going to be a bit more "democratic" than that.

(im leaving some things open on this character for now, ive been throwing around some ideas for what id like to involve him in but havent got anything completely worked out yet )

Appearance: Young looking, groomed black hair, medium length. Sports a flamboyant cloak, crimson and embroidered with extravagant gold designs on the outside, black on the inside. His apparel is obviously expensive and of high quality, to the point of being suspicious. Carries an aura of arrogance about him and his presence is generally disconcerting.

Equipment: Silver longsword and matching dagger, again of noteworthy quality. A small satchel of various scrolls, magickal or otherwise, and small items; goggles and cloth for the ash storms, jewels etc.

Personality: Arrogant, quick-tempered, hard-headed, almost 'spoiled.'

Brief History: (Undecided)

Reason for joining the caravan: Questionable.

O.R.I.: His equipment, funding and training come from an outside source and anyone with a keen eye can tell he is not in the caravan to aid the building of Ghostgate. He is a well trained swordsman, but because of his age lacks much real combat experience. He is supposed to be infiltrating and blending in with the caravan, but his pride and youthfulness keep him sticking out like a sore thumb.

Appearance: Derrick has brown eyes and unkempt hair. (Parallel to picture) Stands at 6'0. Derrick's town gear consists of a dark brown doublet and suede trousers, with rope sandals. While Derrick is out in the countryside, he wears a jerkin and leather traveling boots. Gloves are usually kept within his traveler's cloak, which he always wears. (The picture below would be Derrick if need be he suited up for war.)

Equipment: A small dagger held on a leather thong around his right bicep. A small purse of coins, a couple flasks of alcohol, a small pouch of tobacco and a clay pipe, The Firmament, a quill and parchment, a sleeping roll, a small shoulder sack to carry his belongings, a lockpick, and His Lucky Rock. Armor and weapons are purchased "when need be" from vendors and then sold after they have served their purpose.

Personality: Quiet, distant, distracted. Head in the clouds, but down to earth. Always listening.

Brief History: Growing up in the foothills, Derrick loved the outdoors and the beauty of nature, but never had the devotion to become a woodsman. His father, a lumberjack, drank heavily, and when Derrick turned 14, left the family. Derrick's mother abandoned him for the city and Derrick left his home for the open roads. A politician picked Derrick up and introduced him to the world of knowledge. A quick wit was instilled in Derrick, as well as the placidity of a small time politician, one who is used to not having his voice be heard. Derrick poured over books and lore, and then developed a sort of apathy to the life around him. He became lost in knowledge, and when he turned 18, he left the politician's home to see what Tamriel had to offer him. His life up to now has been long roads, rainy nights, and the company of the woods.

Skills: Master Illusionist, Enchanter and Alchemist. As well as an enormous talent of getting on other peoples nerves.

Appearance: James is tall with long dark hair and green eyes. He wears a rather battered set of leather armour and black clothing.

Equipment: A trusty iron dagger as well as an elven shortblade. An enchanted bag that holds his alchemy equipment, lockpicks, probes and other enchanted nick knacks that has no real use.

Personality: Cynical, sarcastic, arrogant, overconfident, strangely enough kind, and a virtually non existant temper, and a strong moon-sugar addiction.

History: James like every person in his family is a born werewolf, coupled with his birthsign and racial abilities he is very resistant to magic. Ever since he was a child James has been unusually intelligent, and after witnessing the cruelties of the world his high intellect has given him a very twisted and cynical view on the world. He knows that he is smarter than most and tries to put logic down to everything including the most basic of emotions.

He comes from a very poor family and ran away from home when he was six years old. And while his fighting abilities are as poor as they come his intelligence and mastery of illusions of all kinds has made him into an incredible skilled thief.

When over the years he has been in many fights and the only reason he has survived as long as he has is that he managed to find out a way to control the werewolf within, so he can change into a fearsome werewolf at will, though he is still forced to go feral once a month. Though transforming makeshim that much tougher it does put an incredible strain on his mental powers, quite often leaving him weak afterwards.

Reason to join the caravan: James is if nothing an opportunist. Promises of large monetary sums from an unknown party for helping drew him in quickly enough and so he seeks to use his skills as best he can to earn money.
