I'm currently sharpening my skills with the rest of the band for the New Years Bash. So basically I'm practicing some of our songs.
But for you newbies out there I would suggest you work on your fret movement and basic chords.
For moderate players I'm just going to tell you to start working on songs that spark your interest and keep working on tying your chords together into a more... listener friendly jam.
Advanced players. Now is the time to start using those chords and solos from other songs to build your own short tune. Once done with that its on to learning things that don't spark your interest. For example if you’re a rocker start listening and playing along with country or classical music.
For people who are past the last step your time has come to add all you've learned and put it to use. Learn a few popular songs and go put yourself on the show list at a local coffee shop. Have fun!
America's Army. Download it and join the ranks of the many who fight aginst the people know as the enemy, or Cobra for you GI JOE fans.
