So there's going to be an investigation into the Falmer, then? That'll be interesting, certainly; are you incorporating Skyrim lore about the Falmer into this or is it sticking to the Morrowind line of 'we haven't seen them yet'? Also, you seemed to have some really odd usage of capitalisation and apostrophes at points within this chapter, stuff like: QUOTE how he was a Scholar as well as a Noble back in the Sumurset Isles. QUOTE Divayth Fyr is one of the Eldest Mortals to walk the Mundus at four thousand years, and one of the most powerful Sorcerer's to have existed. My hands have slain the Dagoth's of Vvardenfell that were at least that old. QUOTE The Miners and Dock Workers flocked into our relatively large tavern. It's kind of wierd how the profession, like 'scholar' and 'miners and dock workers' are capitalised; it's a title, of sorts, but it shouldn't be. Again, it's the same case with 'eldest mortals', and to be honest I have no idea why you put capitals on that one. It just looks odd now, and it seems to happen all the time, which was kind of jarring to read. And I've caught up!
It's still a fantastic story, so I'm absolutely delighted to see it's being continued, I'm just sorry I was away for so long that it's taken me a while to get up to date. One thing that is interesting - when you have such a lot to read - is that you see how styles change over a period of time. Our assassin has slowly started to change from an "all action" character, into a much more measured character. He weighs things up, anticipates and reads people. You always had an interesting lead, but now... he's a damn sight more interesting. And believeable. And sympathetic. And just coool! More please And I must admit, I'm looking forward to the moment where assassin meets assassin again. The idea of flare spells to disrupt nighteye was inspired... |
