Main Quest glitch, help needed, "Spies" is glithcing and the cheat code isn't working,.. Options

I need some help getting past the beginning stages of MQ07 "Spies". I've spoken with Martin, and given him the 'Mysterium Xarxes', after which he asks me to speak with Jauffre about some spies. When I go speak with Jauffre. the topic of Spies never comes up. In fact, NO new topics come up with him. I've even tried the cheat code (in various ways), but to no avail. Code variations I have tried are:

SetStage MQ07Spies 20
SetStage MQ07spies 20
SetStageMQ07Spies20
SetStageMQ07spies20
SetStageMQ07Spies 20

I'm fairly sure the first on the list is the correct way to enter the code, but it only gives me the response of, "invalid info 'MQ07Spies' for parameter Quest" Could someone please let me know if my brain is just old and I'm not typing the code correctly? Or how to get the main quest going again? I'm dead in the water righ tnow and don't even feel a breeze.

You're on the right track. The problem is that the SetStage command only allows the editor IDs for quests when used within the editor. Ingame, you have to use the Form IDs for the quests. Hence, MQ07Spies will not work and what you need to use is 0001E729.

So, try with SetStage 0001E729 20

Thank you again Rane. Strangly it's only recently that my game has not been allowing the editor IDs during game play. We're figuring a screwy disk.
