I have two parts to this post. One is to request permission from administrators to link this forum in my mod idea/resource list at http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=257979, and the second is my contribution to this project. A simple book with a moral.

CODE
Now shall be presented a short story about a Crassius Curio, and his life. This article shall depict his life, from as early as known by men or mer, to the point at which he shall die. Curio was an honorable businessman, yet dishonorable in many other ways as well. Now shall ensue, the tale of his dealings, with men, and mer.

He grew up a young lad, glad at his accomplishments. He helped kids who were bullied, only in vain. One day he helped out a kid who was being bullied and said “pull down your pants, or you lose your job”. The bully refused, and as such with Curio’s noble status, and dishonesty, lied through his teeth about the bully. The bully was described as a maniac, taunting kids, which although true, was also described as a thief, an N’Wah. The bully had lost his job, much to his dismay. The Bully, embarrassed at what he would have had to do to keep his job, after all his bullying, left for Vvardenfell, to become known as Fargoth, never to bully again.

Curio became a writer, while dealing with his many plays. None of them were any good, although eventually in life he would make one, which would be quite a site. He became a source of income for poor actors who needed money, despite he gained none back, except on that one play that he would write in Morrowind.

Curio, pleased at how he dealt with the bully, decided to deal with others as well. And he eventually came upon Gaenor, a horrible sort. He begged for money until he received, then demanded more and more and more. He threatened those who refused to pay still, and eventually would exact his revenge. Curio was the sort who tried to stand up to him, only to see him another day in Ebony “dealing” with one of his failed extractions.

Curio, scared, wondered what he should do. He thought about killing him, many times before, but how would he beat someone so clad in ebony, so skillfully wielding his blade? He wouldn’t, instead he would ask his father and house to be sent to Vvardenfell, where he would ensue his trade. A bad habit that would lead to his demise was known as the “pants check” to ensure his members are “loyal”, willing to do whatever he asks.

Curio one day came upon a character that would some day be known as the Nerevarine, in his house. He had no idea that such a character would succeed him, and as such, he treated the Nerevarine as he did all others. He had the Nerevar retrieve many items, and even pull down his/her pants. This was his mistake above all others, the one which would ensue his reason for death.

Soon enough Curio was naming the Nerevar hortatory, much to his dismay. And after Dagoth Ur, the blight of the nation, was ridden of forever, Curio was soon to be next. Curio, scared, assembled men in his place, ready to kill the Nerevar on sight. The Nerevar did not come, for many weeks, months even. After a long time, the Nerevar had come, and cleansed his place of his guards. All that was left is Curio, standing there, scared, unwanted, un-needed, hated, dreaded, exterminated.

And so lives on the tale of Curio, as a sign that you should never treat others badly, as it may very well be your demise.
