Welcome, welcome to my first thread here at chorrol! smile.gif

Here you can post screenies of anything in Oblivion. I´ll start by showing you my character Lothran from various points in Cyrodiil.

You can do what I do,http://www.fraps.com/download.php. Very easy to use, I promise smile.gif
The pictures you take with Fraps are stored in your Fraps map at the C: directory by default (I think), unless you choose to put it someplace else when you install.

He´s using Saviour´s Hide together with leather greaves and boots, he´s been doing that for years now. Only the enchantment on the greaves and boots have varied.
When he´s in Bruma though he only uses fur and the enchantment on that has varied as well.

yes but how do you actually use fraps in game ? the same key as vanilla shots ?

And in documents will create a new file with the single screenshot ? sorry but i like to get the facts straight.

By default you press F10 whenever you want to take a picture. Of course, you have to have Fraps up and running. It´s not enough to install it.

It was sooo long ago that Lothran was a bluehair. Buffy gets all tingly every time she sees snowflakes dancing in Lothie's white hair. Shrunk the elf? Yup, right down to Buffy size!

Here's one of mirocu's faves of Buffy. I call it http://i.imgur.com/NUMFIA3.jpg

To find your pictures you go to the location on your harddrive where the Fraps map is. For me it´s C:/Fraps, and in that map you find the Screenshot map where they end up.

It´s free and there´s no subscribing to anything smile.gif

Posted by: Acadian Feb 10 2013, 06:07 PM

My knowledge is admittedly limited here, but I think Drow are Dark Elves with platinum blonde hair. Example:

I don´t think that name applies to TES Dunmer tongue.gif Even if it does, I´ve never heard it anywhere in TES lore.

Lothran´s hair was blue from the start as you can see. I changed it to white after a few years to demonstrate his long life and wisdom. Even though elves don´t age like we do, I thought that was the best way of showing it smile.gif

I like that idea! On the Drows - Nexus has pages of mods for Drows in Oblivion, that's why I asked if Lothran was one. Either way, he's cool looking.

Posted by: Acadian Feb 10 2013, 10:35 PM

I believe Drow Elves are a product of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons / Forgotten Realms. They are a non-playable race, for example in Baldurs' Gate II. They are generally an underground matriarchal race that is regarded as evil. There are exceptions, for one of the most famous Drows is named Drizzt Do'Urden and is a decidedly 'good' ranger.

I'm no expert at all on Drow Elves but I hope that helps. smile.gif

I don't think any of the Nexus mods have the Drow as evil, although some are more sexually oriented than others (example: AlienSlof's Drows are extraordinarily well endowed, and the "Giant Melon" Drows in another mod - no explanation needed on them).

I am such a geek. Check it out, I have my Monster Manual right here! Let's see if I can read it. Wow, they used such small type in some of these books. *gets glasses* that's better.

Drow Elves: These are only legend. They purportedly dwell deep beneath the surface in a strange subterreanean realm. The drow are said to be as dark as faeries are bright, and as evil as the latter are good. Tales picture them as weak fighters but strong magic-users.

On topic: I'm really liking these pics! Why do people mostly post them as links, though? If we have the option to just put full pictures right in our posts, why does everybody use links?

1. I was so hoping you would stop by, figuring your knowledge of D&D would vastly eclipse mine. Thank you!

2. Several reasons to use links for screenshots. First, posting images directly in the post slows down loading times and if there are lots of them, it can get jerky as the thread loads. And bigger images make the problem much worse. Secondly, if you use links, you can post big images with no problems. Thirdly, lot of images in the posts makes for lots of scrolling to see what's new. smile.gif

That mod does give you the option for smaller breasts, just don't install the giant ones and the regular ones will be there. She is beautiful, but I agree with you on the size of the ones shown, they were obscenely huge.

If you are talking about Lothran, he isn't a Drow. He is a Dunmer with beautiful platinum blonde hair.

The Drow mods have unique other things besides their looks (strengths/attributes/spells, etc - and in the two mods mentioned above: uniquely sized body parts).

No , i was talking about drows.

i have known lorthan for quite a long while and im guessing mirocu got the hair throw custo, colour rather than a mod

just use custom colour , you can get any colour you like then .

And if the drows only - what was it ? - "unique" feature beside the hair is there breasts they dont sound very interesting at all .....

They are a race mod, add Drow to your game and give you the ability to play one. They have unique other things besides their looks (strengths/attributes/spells/etc) and usually some white body tatooing.

I've never used any of the Drow mods, but I love their Ayleid styled architecture and buildings (beautiful deep purple to black colored) - and have used the meshes for these in some of my own stuff.

It is beautiful in both color and style. I really like the care you have shown and your ideas behind them in Lothran, really well thought out! It makes it clear Lothran is important to you, (like Buffy is to Acadian, Maxical is to me, etc).

Yes, since Lothran is my only Oblivion character we have beenhttp://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k505/mirocu/Valenwood.jpg and that means alot to me. I have connected with him in a way I didn´t think I would.
But I also feel a connection to dear Buffy in fact. She has a big heart in that small body of hers and I can´t help thinking about how such a fragile little creature can survive against all the necrodudes and vampires she´s hunting. Good thing she majored in Illusion and Marksmanship happy.gif

This character of yours, Maxical. Can you post me a picture or two? smile.gif

It is beautiful in both color and style. I really like the care you have shown and your ideas behind them in Lothran, really well thought out! It makes it clear Lothran is important to you, (like Buffy is to Acadian, Maxical is to me, etc).

Thank you for your kind words! smile.gif

Can you post me a picture or two? smile.gif

Maxical has been my character since 2006 when Oblivion first came out. And I fully agree with you about the connection!

It is actually just one mod, a race mod called Kawa Khajiits. They overlaid Imperial features and Khajiit, then added some creative things (example, her ears move with her mood or when she is talking to someone, her tail is longer than the vanilla Khajiit tail and has more movement to it. She has her own voice for battle cries, and has head tracking - which I love).

Other than that, the only other thing modded on her is a voice mod so she speaks at different times in game. She speaks in a Scottish accent (The voice of "Annah of the Shadows" from Planescape Torment - Sheena Easton) and she sings/hums when she is walking around.

I like to alter his shots because I think it suits his atmosphere better.

Although this sepia shots made him look much more scary as he is in fact. Without his hood and in normal daylight he looks like ordinary pale Bosmer with a blank look and dark circles under his eyes. But then again, it is almost impossible to see him without his hood, because he wears it all the time, except when going to sleep or when swimming.

Yes , its what they do that means something . I like how falador looks very vannil-ish ( not to mention delicious laugh.gif ) it makes him somehow more belivable . My characters are also quite plain , but i dont tend to be very good at character creation sad.gif

Its like with all these skyrim pics of "strong nord women" , and i read the stories and then the pics < insert sick here > they are in "armour" if thats what you want to call it . i call it a sports bra and a thong .

I am worried about how more and more so women are being degraded by players , its there choice of cource , but for the life of me i dont get the whole "Skimpy" thing . It makes women look weak-willed and shallow . For me the moment i see those pics my interest in the story just goes.

Like with falador , if all his pics displayed him in some "mod armour" that basically showed him naked bar the family gems , i would just skim over his stories because for me , those characters feel un - realistic , shallow , and entirely fake.

Yes its just my opinion on it .

Me neither, I prefer most of the things vanilla and not too revealing, it doesn't make sense to go on a rampage in the snowy region wearing almost nothing. I admit I installed few facial mods but only because I had hard time creating young-looking characters.

Falador sees himself as ugly & repulsive, that's why he hides most of his body almost all the time, you'll never see him wearing any shirt with short sleeves / breeches and he usually wears his iron gauntlets all the time except when eating, reading or doing something where gauntlets would cause him troubles.

wub.gif seems im amoungst friends! Very few people have the same opinion on skimpy armour , but the simple fact is

a. its not lore- friendly

b . logisitcally impossible ( mentioned above)

c . how can it give any "protection?" amour isint there to look pretty worm! it there to do the job it was made to do.

I just think , given women play a big part in TES they are being increasingly undermined by this new batch of "skimpy mods" that are flourishing in the skyrim mod community . Its almost shameful and , quite frankly , dissapointing to see users lavish in their nudity and "girl power" . The women of skyrim do not care for this beauty , they are men at hearts and i love this so much , that is what a "Strong nord woman" means ! Not some flouncy model whoms only pass - time is how to get ulfric into bed! ( i literally found several threads devoted to cooking up ways to seduce ulfric and even *shudder* for them to get pregnant!)

This is just a bi - product of mods unfortunantly

I like the idea falador covers himself up , its cute! wub.gif

The "Huntsman's Vest" which you referred to as a "Sports bra" is a vanilla article of clothing in Oblivion, not a mod. Therefore, it must be lore friendly.

When you get on the internet, you are exposed to a diverse population whose beliefs may or may not match your own. Game forums are made up of modders and players whose individual preferences are based on their personal beliefs/cultures/environments.

This is an open minded forum that accepts others for what they are as we meet them. Stating your own preferences is fine, but downgrading other's choices or making extreme assumptions about them (and/or their characters) based on how their character is dressed, how they play their character, or the mods they use and posting these in numerous places is prejudicial soapboxing.

There are all different degrees of obsessions and fantasy, which you thoroughly demonstrated in your numerous posts on this subject.

In my years at this site I have never seen any characters/stories/mods/etc. that would have offended your sensibilities, but if they come they should not meet with prejudice on these forums.

I agree with mALX (always a wise idea).

I, likewise, know of no such large breasted flouncy models trying to bed everything by wearing a steel bikini and waving a sword. Perhaps you have this place confused with another forum? Or perhaps some mod download site? Wood elves may very well dress like their spriggan sisters of the forest, and I suppose Nordic warrior women may chose to wear something that fits the traditional view of melee armor. And mages might wear robes. Or any of these characters may simply enchant two or three baubles with enough armor rating to make a dragon wince and charge naked into battle with a massive and weightless bound sword that streams flames. At any rate, all of these characters are welcome here with open mind and open arms.

Given the dark themes that can be found in Oblivion if you search for them, it would seem that wardrobe choices make for a silly thing to rant about.

Wouldn't you agree? smile.gif

As a woman, I can appreciate the concern you are displaying.

However, little clothing does NOT make a woman weak-willed. Nor does more clothing make her more strong-minded. The strongest women I know are not afraid to show off their bodies, whether society wants them to or not. We are to be proud of our bodies, whatever shape they come in, both men and women alike. Telling someone that showing their bodies is attempting to take the control they have over themselves. And that's a no-no.

I can understand the concern. Trust me, I used to be like that. But it is the personal choice of each player to mod or use an item of clothing. If they want to litter the internet with the images, simply don't look. I've seen ridiculous mods with ridiculous outfits, and have only mentioned them in private to others.

But weak-willed? No. Is wanting to mold a character to fit their idea of attractive weak-willed? Nah. Or make them look silly? nah. This is a FANTASY game, my dear. Things are going to look funky. Not to mention you are in a forum with authors and artists, what did you expect?

No , your not hearing me

If your going to just blanch me with your random argument do not comment

A. i was not referring to any item

B . talking about skyrim , which didnt have a huntsman vest

It is clear not matter how neutral you attempt to stay on the subject you disagree with me , i simply detest people whom attempt to remain cold and aloof and pretend to be above me!

It is rude , you have not listned to anything i have said on the "numerous" posts , you'd be surprised with which gender i am you know....

But i agree with you that everybody has their own view , however i did not and i will not tolerate you saying i am attempting to say that women should not wear skimpy clothes . i find it dissapointing that female players find it powerful to expose chracters , again its just characters , but for me over the recent year the anti- feminist bilge i have read on various tes forums as shocked me , whats even more shocking is most of it is coming from female players , for me the line between charcters and users is fine , if your displaying your characters naked as the moon bowing to ulfric stormcloak the " war hero of skyrim~" then yes i find it hard not to get angry about.

But i dont want to get into an arguement about it , but i dont like the way you responded to my topic accuseing me of things i did not imply or even wrote . And no i dont come from the 80's so dont acuse me of being out-moded in what im trying to say .

While everyone's on a skin theme, let Buffy say how much she approves of Lothran's vest - the one that shows off those big arm muscles! No wonder he has the power to do so much damage with Snowflake. Yet, he can be gentle too.

If she liked him in that vest, think twice before showing her http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k505/mirocu/Lothranwater.jpg tongue.gif

This was her short stint as a werewolf, Janus Hassildor remodeled the "Lost Chamber" after Rona died and let her wolf self live there as a safe haven from persecution.

This is her living amongst a pack of her own kind before Janus made the kind offer:

Nice! I must say though that I prefer Oblivion Aravi. Maybe because I´ve seen her more times than Skyrim Aravi.

Really? I've really grown to love the Skyrim look. I recently installed Oblivion again on my computer and I've found the character gen quite... discouraging. I'll get something I like eventually though.

Lotheran's become a familiar sight, in fact I remember his name better than your username! I really like that screen of him sitting at the captain's chair!

QUOTE(Lopov @ Feb 12 2013, 09:44 AM) *

@King Coin - Aravi looks great in both games but I prefer her in Skyrim, perhaps it's because of her haircut.

I like the Skyrim one better as well, the character models are so much nicer. There aren't many options in Oblivion with the Khajiit and that haircut looked the best of the ones I could use.

Your character looks so sinister! Again the captain's chair is a great shot.

It hit her without warning about every 30 days or so when the moons were positioned a certain way. If she was in a town at the time she transformed, all H would break loose and a lynch mob would chase her out of town.

She wasn't able to bring herself to attack people, but the werewolf was quite deadly against Daedra during the Oblivion crisis.

Yeah, but you sure don't get the hero accolades for it, lol.

I loved that mod, probably the best mod I ever played for quests and dungeon diving (not to mention the great rewards) but since my character wouldn't kill or feed on humans, (or even attack them to spread the werewolf disease and create her own pack of followers) - kind of lost the reason for playing as a werewolf, so she eventually took the cure.

One side effect of having been a werewolf in the past though - wolves in the wild do not attack my character even years after being cured. She can sit with them, walk with them, etc. They guard her if she camps in their spawn area.

Thank you - that was my favorite thing to do after the quests were all done, camp down with the pack in the foothills of the Jeralls. Even when she transformed back to her regular Khajiit form the werewolves let her live with them, didn't attack her. Had to deal with werewolf hunters though.

I will not tolerate what i perceive as rudeness , this is what i shall say to reaction .

But i have read the comment from elizibeth and i have to agree , your judgement seems well-reasoned and i to have had to come to similar conclusions on the matter . Again people perceive power in differant ways and i am bound to accept them . I think skimpy armour can vary in how much dignity it can give , when made just right it can indeed give off an epic visage . But i often think "too much" and for me the result looks comical , completly ridiculous , like a child has taped together clipped pieces of mesh . cool.gif

But , your right mirocu , this is a screenshot thread and i dont want to de-rail your flow . Apologies friend wink.gif

Thanks for the very sweet compliments for Lildereth, folks! Yes, she was in Renee’s contest. I haven’t written about her much because she’s a character in my fanfic, so most of her adventuring is in that story.

Lol KC! She does frown a lot. Maybe because her neck hurts when she talks to people. Here are those shots where she’s http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/ViggeGetsAnEarful.jpg and then http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/TellingOffSinderion.jpg.

Acadian, that is such a lovely picture of Buffy! Her hair looks especially smooth and unbothered by the lake’s humidity (Grits says with envy tongue.gif).

I love the shots of Lothran and Falador in the captain’s quarters. The sepia look really suits Falador. *shiver*

Of course my favorite Lothran picture so far is the one in the dark, with the lens on and no film. laugh.gif I love his summoned bear!

mALX, oh my gosh I don’t think I’ve seen those werewolf pictures! They are awesome! That must have been tremendous fun. And Maxical’s poor tummy in the Arena! I love how she looks in her raiment, even though in that one she looks like she might spit up an arrow head at any moment. Yikes!

Here are some pictures of Kjestrid, Nord ranger. Not newly taken but never before shared. I played Kjestrid a lot on my laptop after an injury. Just haven’t let her out to play lately.

Grits, I surely wouldn't want to be in Vigge or Sinderion's shoes. Especially if Lidereth puts them at the business end of her bow!

Kjestrid looks great! Since she's very pretty, doesn't look like she bumps the top of the door jam with her head and is not furry, I guess she's not dear Jerric's sister? That plaid shirt and vest looks perfect on her. The shirt seems to pick up on her coloring so nicely, and the fact that it is weightless means she can carry more clothes and shoes! tongue.gif

Posted by: mALX Feb 13 2013, 08:01 PM

Did Kjestrid kill Raelynn the Gravefinder? And what house is that in the first shot? Love your characters, you are a whiz with the facegen!

Posted by: Grits Feb 13 2013, 09:02 PM

Since Kjestrid doesn’t have to shave her back we can be sure she’s no kin to Jerric! tongue.gif How nice to notice Kjestrid’s outfit, Acadian. happy.gif I’m afraid that one is as good as it gets. She has a lovely and serene personality, but the woman is not an imaginative dresser. It didn’t help that the brown shirt and quilted doublet were already “taken” by Lildereth and Abiene. They haven’t met but Kjestrid does inhabit their world, so it’s hard for me to put her in one of “their” shirts!

mALX, you got it! I had forgotten where that necro dungeon was, but it’s the one with Raelynn and friends. The picture with Skjorta is in Nord Winds. Kjestrid lives in Bruma. I tried to put a picture up that shows her face better, but photobucket was giving me fits. I gave her a big, Nordly face. smile.gif

Now that it's over... yes, Molag Bal is definitely big b-a-s-t-a-r-d! I won't say more because we're not in Spoilers section but let's just say that Falador has now few heavy bruises and scars.

No, not cheating - that is how Acadian got started! I pushed him (with unrelenting force) into posting Buffy's escapades all in one place on the fiction forum at Bethesda so I wouldn't have to search all over the Oblivion forum there for them - he did, then started writing her story from there! No, not cheating - that is how Acadian got started! I pushed him (with unrelenting force) into posting Buffy's escapades all in one place on the fiction forum at Bethesda so I wouldn't have to search all over the Oblivion forum there for them - he did, then started writing her story from there! Look for much of that unrelenting force to come your way in the near future !!!!!!

Yes, I'm far from a good modder but I have a basic knowledge like removing rubble and adding items of my own. His hideout is in a small room in Fort Caractacus but I removed dirty rubble and broken pots. Then I 'imagined' that Falador carried all the items from some known location to the fort, of course it is impossible to carry items like statues and chests but he traveled from that location to his fort... for example he took the statue of Molag Bal (correct, mirocu) from Moss Rock cavern, wooden platform from exterior of Fort Caractacus and the bedroll from Aleswell Inn from his room which he got as a reward after saving people from invisibility. He also hauled few chests from some other locations.

Thanks. His former hideout was outside Fort Caractacus, where Ancotar originally lived. It looked like http://shrani.si/f/P/dm/4HiN7OGU/1/241-back-at-fort-caracta.jpg and it is not modded in any way, unfortunately I don't have any unaltered shot. But with the winter coming he decided to move inside and so he sort of http://shrani.si/f/24/3g/4URzqyXB/1/294-former-hideout.jpghis former hideout.

Oh that's right. You know Ancondil is one of my faves in Teresa's story! These horses respawn in a wide variety of types but, unfortunately, they are all the same in terms of whatever type the game chooses for each respawn. So it was all blue roans this time. Next time we visit it might be all palaminos or all paints or all whites.

I'll have to ask Buffy to help me get a screenshot of Button the next time we're in Bravil.

Falador was not in a mood for adventuring today and neither was I because I got cold, so we did a little modding to his hideout, mostly exterior part.

Falador blocked the http://shrani.si/f/3O/Rc/4d6ICQ4j/426-main-entrance-blocke.jpg to Fort Caractacus. And decided to use the other one, more http://shrani.si/f/1v/ih/4tyokC8O/428-the-only-entrance.jpg instead. You can also see Shadowmere standing next to a water brazier which Falador 'bought' for his horse in the Imperial city. http://shrani.si/f/2G/kw/2qxMpYER/429-hideout-key.jpg for his hideout was forged by Rohssan. It obviously http://shrani.si/f/2E/YG/3kSuC4mV/430-the-key-fits.jpg!

And now some pics of the hideout, nothing new was modded here. He actually uses only one room inside Fort Caractacus plus a narrow corridor leading to that room. In that http://shrani.si/f/3l/n0/3FxZvQmL/431-hall-with-food--ingr.jpghe keeps food & ingredients.

Now some pics of the actual hideout.
http://shrani.si/f/2p/dA/4hNP1F7o/432-hideout-right-side.jpg (There are some cuirasses on the floor, namely Bruma, Cheydinhal and Skingrad + elven bow and silver arrows, which are Falador's standard equipment. The scales are not standard scales but Scales of pitiless justice.)
http://shrani.si/f/4/108/1gJ6RL1s/436-books-ii.jpg (for those interested these are from left to right Spirit of the Daedra, Glories and Larments, Black arrow Vol. 1 & 2, The brothers of darkness, De Rerum Dirennis, Immortal Blood and the only standing book is Cleansing of the fane)

http://shrani.si/f/2g/vY/4AKJxqfh/433-hideout-left-side.jpg
http://shrani.si/f/3D/kt/17R81b9j/435-books-i.jpg (from left to right two copies of The five tenets, Mystery of Talara V4, Palla Vol. 2, The lusty argonian maid, Beggar prince, The Third door, The rear guard, Advances in lockpicking, Magic from the Sky, The gold ribbon of merit, Fundaments of Alcehmy and the one lying alone is Fall of the snow prince. On the chest are The last king of the Ayleids and Tamrielic lore)

http://shrani.si/f/3Q/zy/3uKpzByU/434-daedric-artifacts.jpg (Goldbrand, Mace of Molag Bal, Volendrung and Masque of Clavicus Vile, never mind the bow, this is Shadowhunt and has nothing to do with Daedric quests. Falador also has in possession Ring of Namira but he has it always equipped except when sleeping)

Thank you! I think it is the Slof mod that causes that six pack of respawning horses to all spawn the same. Sometimes they are palamino or paint or white etc, but always the same as each other.

Here's another Valley of the Horses shot with a bit more variety (another old photobucket link so you may have to open it twice to get a full screen): http://i668.photobucket.com/albums/vv43/Acadian6/1200%20Series/ScreenShot1212.jpg

I see the legs of the fifth one, lol. Great Buffy screen too! I love this screen!

That looks so much more natural to me, to have all different colored horses. Why did the mod suddenly start changing them all at once suddenly? It wasn't doing it at the time this screen was done, what happened? And does it change Superian too? Urk.

*mALX makes mental note not to download the Slof's mod causing all horses in Cyrodiil to look exactly the same*

Posted by: Acadian Feb 25 2013, 04:51 PM

Lol. No no. Superian is fine and there is tons of variety across Cyrodiil with Slof's mod. Buffy encounters Legion riders for example on everything from palaminos to black/white paints. It is only that one spawn spot for wild horses that does that.

We promised SubRosa a shot of Button. As many will recall, Button is shire draft mare that belongs to Olava/Chapel of Mara. She pulls a wagon and lends her mighty muscle to everything from pulling tree stumps and moving harvest for poorer farmers to hauling supplies for the chapel. Olava and Teresa were on such a run with Button when the group encountered a wounded grizzly bear. And so was born the famous legend of Button and the Bear. Teresa was the heroine there, but you know bards and their love of alliteration. Although more commonly seen with a heavy load behind her, here you can see that Antoine has prepared the mighty mare for Olava to ride a bit later this morning. http://i.imgur.com/mFYSmY4.jpg

Posted by: Acadian Feb 25 2013, 05:36 PM

Oh good. Thanks! Buffy just visited the Legion's Office of Crisis Management on the first floor of the palace. Wandering around, she didn't get far before encountering red doors. She had no need to risk arrest by the Imperial Guard though, so she heeded their warnings.

Lothran probably knows more about it. . . wink.gif

@Acadian - wow, these horses really look great!

Some old shots, most of them were taken before I installed a mod which disables permanent glow when you have enchanted items equipped.

These are one of my favorite shots, first one was taken at The Drunken Alduin Inn, I like to call it http://shrani.si/f/i/mV/3Jo8udq/154-at-the-drunken-drago.jpg. Second one was taken when Falador jumped from Marie Elena and http://shrani.si/f/1x/LK/4ZoDt4DO/1/66-leaving-the-ship.jpg at the same time. The third shot was taken few seconds later, let's name it http://shrani.si/f/2p/13j/3kbjnWXb/1/67-sea-strider.jpg. The fourth shot is http://shrani.si/f/1U/bK/1aAzX4E0/128-admiring-the-great-o.jpg. And the fifth one is in colors - http://shrani.si/f/6/z/2d7t8UpZ/1/230-the-gold-coast.jpg.

The sepia can tend to make all the shots look similar (to me). The exception is that first shot, where the light/shadow and length of the corridor make that shot a stunning one.

Rinnala aged very well! Morgiah ...

At the time of Daggerfall, Morgiah was just getting engaged to King Karoodil, so that version of Rinnala was a different person of the same name - created to model the clothes. I estimate that the Oblivion one was born about 3E410 to 3E415 (so she's 19-24 years old) assuming that the player does her mother's quest around 3E406-3E407 and her brother is the elder child. The Imperial Library states that the Daggerfall-starting shipwreck happens in 3E405, and the "Warp in the West" that marks the end of its main quest is in 3E417.

Morgiah was born in 3E384, so she's about 60 at the time of Oblivion. Since her mother was born in the second era, and looked younger than 400 in Daggerfall, I'm betting Morgiah won't have aged noticeably either. And she wants her breasts to look larger than life, not more numerous.

The day before yesterday when Lothran was walking the mountains, he came across a stalemate between a forester and a mountain lion. The lion had several arrows in him (although most are gone in the picture), and the forester stood behind some rocks maybe 20 meters away. (yeah that´s right, no feet here)
They were both standing still and didn´t try to move. This is what it looked like.

I can see why, Maxical will def have to rent a room there (even though she owns a house in town). That bed is bigger than the one in her house! I don't remember seeing a big bed like that in any other inn.

In Skyrim Maxical owns a house in Solitude, but has never slept there. She is a continuous guest at the Inn at Whiterun, loves the big bed/large room/balcony with a view, and room service. She also likes having a door on her bedroom and being on a different floor from the drunken revelry, lol.

Indeed, I'm glad it's possible to figure it out.
It was not much of a funeral really, let's pretend from RP perspective that Falador buried his mentor under that rock. He placed three candles, a nightshade petal and silver dagger on the rock / grave.

She has red eyes. They glow red when she is feeling the bloodlust. I don't think I kept any of those screens, but will keep looking to see if I can find one. I never uploaded those because I didn't want my mother to freak out, she used to keep up with her story/vids/screens (till she became too ill).

She only uses the Lost Chamber as a hideout when she doesn't want to be found by anyone. It is soundproof, and vampires can't read thoughts through its walls (so even Janus Hassildor can't tell when she is hiding in there).

Right now she is living in Theryon, an Ayleid city in the sky:

I love it there, whoever made the mod is a genius. The town is filled with interesting NPC's, and some girl comes in and swims in the pool daily - no idea who she is.

(Maxical is currently being held prisoner there by Dagoth-Malan. Since it is miles in the sky she can't escape).

There is a clearer picture of Cyrodiil below done by someone else:

You have to use Borderless Cyrodiil or just 0 out borders on your INI (that's what I did). Just north of Silorn is a portal for your first visit there. Once you buy the Palace and enter it you can fast travel there from then on.

It says it requires Shivering Isles, but I don't have SI and have found only ONE issue = a few statues in one room and a few trees on one side of the palace that came from the SI pack showing up as yellow arrows (missing meshes). Otherwise it is absolutely perfect and awesome !!!

The Lindai one, yes. It´s displayed on the drawers in his Bruma bedroom. Man, I really wish you could get some display cases for the Bruma house.

Posted by: Lopov Mar 5 2013, 09:30 PM

Ah, the Lindai one. I think Fally will get the Nenalata one.

I will go little off-topic now but sometimes I think that majority of town houses for sale (no matter what town) are much less interesting compared to those you can't own. Not that my characters owned a lot of houses, almost all of them were 'homeless' but it's just what I judge from screenshots.

And now back on topic... luckily you're on PC, you could mod some display cases in. Few minutes and it's done. smile.gif

Posted by: mALX Mar 5 2013, 09:55 PM

It is possible to get both if your character can sneak well, steal one and adventure for the other. I always got the Lindai one too, till the first time I tried out giving the Nenalata one. AWESOME difference!

Posted by: Acadian Mar 21 2013, 11:57 PM

That's how she sees her world. At the extreme left above the welkynd stone looks like a big atronach (not enouth for you to see in the screen). Below Buffy's feet (and mostly behind the pillar) is a dead daedroth. She assesses the glow right of center to be a conjurdude, and the life sign at the extreme right to be a stormie or frostie.

And I love those skies, Lopov. At least the sunsets are still pretty over Kvatch. I like to see how Loypuur's armor choice is evolving.

Kvatch Rebuilt does good job in rebuilding the destroyed town even for those that don't want to tackle the MQ since the only condition is to close a portal of Oblivion and save the town and that does not spawn random gates across Cyrodiil as long as one doesn't ask Martin to accompany him in the quest Find the heir. It's true that to fully complete Kvatch Rebuilt, one must finish MQ but I think a major part of it can be done without doing the MQ.

I was using that mod on one of my previous character, got about halfway to completion and I really liked it. I also run it now, with Loypuur, and who knows, perhaps he might help rebuild it.

Regarding the mod, Kvatch Rebuilt, I have been very pleased with it. Here is a copy/paste of an article we did here at Chorrol on Buffy's Potpourri thread (in my fanfic sub forum). I realize there are a lot of older photobucket shots here but, for those interested, it does give a good feel for the finished product as Buffy sees it (some of the names and details are more reflective of her story/world than the actual mod):

Some overviews to give perspective. Note, the farther the camera, the greater the perspective offered at the price of some rich details-

Amazing pics, Acadian! ohmy.gif I wish I could do the MQ to get all this but I won´t. Not even half-way through or something. Can you enter every building in town and does the arena work?

Posted by: Acadian Mar 29 2013, 06:00 PM

We used a lot of super secret magic so that Buffy lives in a post Oblivion Crisis world, but she is not the Champion of Cyrodiil. This suited our purpose; enabling the full rebuild of Kvatch is just one small benefit. At this point, we are well adjusted to the post crisis world and no one ever calls Buffy a hero or any sort (mod) so it is easy to roleplay and move beyond the crisis.

There are less than a dozen dead Oblivion Gates marring her world. In her world, Kynareth's spriggans have planted vines that reclaimed the ruins of countless other gates across Tamriel. A few are resistant. It seems those that were sustained by a fire-based sigil stone either burn forever or, when their flame goes out, the scorched ground refuses to accept any plant growth. The stuff about blaming fire sigils for those gates that burn forever is purely my imagination at work trying to answer my curious elf's questions. Lol.

The city of Kvatch is fully populated with shops and guilds. All the buildings work and the population is a mix of repatriated familiar encampment refugees and new NPCs. We have not tried using the Arena, since for Buffy's purposes, Kvatch's new ruler has transformed it to a cultural ampitheater. My understanding from the mod's thread however, is that the Arena does work, albeit with some bugs apparently.

I've added so many post-MQ quests into my mods that I'm also looking towards creating another to bypass the MQ, so I can create new test characters without having to take them through it. I like the "someone else did it" principle, as it make sense that all the MQ events should have happened, even if the Player Character didn't get as directly involved.

The "past game PC" characters are routinely acknowledged but put of range by the game. The Nerevarine has gone off on an expedition, etc. I'm sure the same could be done for the CoC, but my own FF has him become the new Count of Kvatch, so I'll likely make a private mod where that happens, and work on top of some of Kvatch Rebuilt to make it happen.

If anyone else likes that idea, I could try and package it up. I don't want to make it too public, as there would be way too many opinions on what quest-lines to shortcut, and who the CoC actually was. Kvatch Rebuilt gives you the choice of installing yourself, or a son of Goldwine, so the easiest path is probably converting the latter. As my need is for an add-in mod for my test characters, I'm biased towards simple and easy.

I'll open a fresh thread in "Mod Ideas" where we can discuss this.

Lopove - Nice ones. 'Onward!' is truly inspired! What a fabulous action shot - backdropped perfectly by the Deadlands, and with the Kvatch Wolf rightfully taking center stage. goodjob.gif

'Onward!' is now one of my all-time favorite shots. What I like the most about it is that it was created by a coincidence, I just wanted to make a sideshot of Loypuur while running. Only when I was browsing the screenies that I took that day, I noticed there's more to it.

Since the Thalmor would like to see her home, Direnni Tower - a.k.a. the Adamantine Tower - destroyed, I'm think she might get in touch to ask for some help.

I especially loved all the "Sunset on..." screens, and Lopov - those were some AWESOME shots in an Oblivion world! Buffy (I've seen those shots on your Potpourri thread, and LOVED them!).

I played the ultimate bad guy from my story tonight, this is Dagoth-Malan, over 350 years old vampire and high echelon necromancer:

My PC plays Oblivion at med graphics with a little lag outside of cities. It can't play Fallout 3, New Vegas, or Skyrim.

My laptop plays Oblivion/Fallout 3, New Vegas/and Skyrim - all at full graphics with no lag, but it is inconvenient to use at home. I need a new PC, lol.

mirocu – Those are great! Outside Chorrol is beautiful! Heh, looking at ‘Don’t you threaten Lothran!’, one would assume he summoned a frostie to help fight the griz. But I know better; in fact, Lothie summoned the griz to help fight the frostie!
