It is fun to resurrect Persephone once more. I think writing about her alter-ego in Seven Reimagined got me in the mood for the living dead girl.

P-9 in Skyrim! Well, something tells me that the frigid parts of the province (like around Azura's shrine) don't bother her a whit. Bound Bowgirl Indeed!

What adds that outfit she's wearing with the wings on her helm? Totally looks wicked and tailor-made for her.

So she's part of the undead faction (right?) but not part of necromancers. I can see why. I bet they'd see her as too much of a loose cannon, trampling in and out of their territories.

Fun shots. The bound bow really does suit Persephone. Between darkness and light? Hmm, we know a Daedric Princess who owns that time as the Mistress of Twilight.

Renee: Persephone's armor and anime winged helmet are from Zzjay's Wardrobe

Persephone is part of the same factions as any other player character. The custom race I made for her is undead, with the same keywords that the other undead races have. So things that do extra damage to undead, also do the same to her. Roleplay-wise, Persephone is the eternal enemy of Necromancers and Mannimarco. Her full story is in the Elder Scrolls Characters topic.


Acadian: I moved away from the bound bow and went back to her absorb health. It feels a bit more natural. With the whole sucking the life out of people and all.

Azura's one of the only Daedric Princes whose quests Persephone would ever do. But even still, she would never use or even keep Azura's Star. It just isn't her style. She just leaves it on Azura's altar.

As an undead, Persephone is immune to poisons, disease, and cold. She does not need to breathe, so cannot drown. Nor does she need to eat. Her only sustenance comes from the magicka that comes down from the stars

Those orange ghosts are indeed from Avanchnzel. I started Persephone in The Rift, so it was one of the earlier dungeons they cleared.



Renee: Those are the 'ghosts' from Avanchnzel. They aren't really ghosts, because the female Argonian is still alive. She is the one you gives you the lexicon and starts the quest. Its more like they are memories, or echoes, trapped inside the lexicon.

My inspiration for Persephone started with Falx Carius in Fort Frostmoth (in Dragonborn, not Bloodmoon). He was reanimated with a heartstone that replaced his meat heart. I changed it up a bit, by basing her heart upon the Ayleid Wells and varla stones from Oblivion, which draw magicka down from the stars.

Me neither. I already have the wrath of Mycharonna to occasionally invade my nightmares. Heh.

Thanks for explaining about those "ghosts." I was just thinking she really blends in well with stonework (Persephone does). Especially in the Gourds picture, because of her gray skin and also grayish clothes, she'd be camouflaged well from a small distance.

Renee: I had sort of a Persephone dream a few nights ago. I was in Fallout, and some people were vexing me. So I remember pulling out her zweihander from Skyrim and power attacking them out of the way.

Persephone would blend into the background on the Death Star!

A great opening action shot. Do those mysterious blue eyes belong to . . . yup, I see in the next pic that is indeed Persephone's pal Darryl. Wow, that little girl's judgment seems way off the mark. . . or maybe she is much more astute than she seems.

Bleak Falls is perfect for Persephone. I can remember back when I was still gaming with Skankee Krak-ho, she took over Embershard Mine, which was fun (for her) because even if the place re-inhabited itself, she's always have more corpses to play with.
