Hmm. Sun is low in the sky, and the mountains are visible, meaning Mirocu is facing west. Ironically, there are mountains in Maryland to the west, but they are over an hour away by car. There's no way we'd be able to see them from the D.C. area.

That's weird; I've never heard of Lake Poppad before. Alright, now I know where it is.

There's one cave close to the lake, which at least according to its name, should have something to do with a missing child. And there's a fort right by the lake, if you change one letter in its original name, it becomes a captor.

Standing on the shores of Lake Canulus near Fort Cuptor. That fog is so thick; is that the fort to the left of the picture? I can hardly make it out.
