Thank you, I think they look great too. I used textures from this mod but I assigned them only to Lee's race which is custom, so only he is tattooed, otherwise every male NPC in the Mojave would have exactly the same tattoos.

Lopov: Hidetaka would make a great anime character, sort of like rouron kenshin or afro samurai.

Killing Vulpes is always a very satisfying moment in every game. I love how no one on the Strip even blinks an eye when you do it.

Since killing Benny, a lot of the focus has gone out of Hidie's game. Since she basically declared war upon the Legion by killing Vulpes, she has been fighting that. She's gone from Cottonwood Cove up to Nelson killing Legion scum. I think the Divide might be next though.


Acadian: There is always plenty of killing for a samurai to do in Nevada...

The funny thing is Nippon is Hidetaka's real goal. Ever since I started her again in New Vegas, I can sense that she really wants to get back to Japan.


Renee: Hidetaka came out really well. I wish we could make characters this Asian-looking in the Elder Scrolls games. OTOH, I tried to give her a somewhat golden cast to her skin. So maybe she is part Altmer?

Ha ha I clicked on "Hot under the collar" expecting to see somebody fawning over Oda. Then I clicked on "Hot Asian Girls" expecting cute Asian girls.

Face Off is interesting because most of the pic is focused on not your character. It's what the art nerds call 'negative space.' Yet (for me) one's eyes get drawn immediately toward the bottom.

@Acadian - you're correct, the super-heated saturnite fist is an upgraded / heated variant of an ordinary saturnite fist. A pre-war robotic machine called the Toaster heated it for Lee and now it's more powerful and on critical hits sets enemies on fire. On the other hand, it deteriorates much more quickly.

@SubRosa - the only thing the fist is lacking is to make some freshly burnt toasts in the morning.

I didn't expect to see Hidetaka with a gun. It suits her but the sword suits her more. Is the first pic taken in Nopah Cave?

The deathclaw just wanted to caress Hidetaka's hair but she brutally cut him off.

Jeannie May got what she deserved and Hidetaka has a new beret to wear.

Deathies really look frightening in New Vegas, my gosh. They've got got centipede legs for fingers.

@SubRosa - that was Lee's first visit to the Quarry Junction. When he went there the 2nd time, he killed the mother deathclaw in melee combat but didn't dare to attack the alpha male so he killed it with Fat Man. But I'll show those pics some time later.

Black Combat armor is from War Trash Mod.

@Acadian - Lee occasionaly makes his own weapons, most notably shuriken(s) and kunai(s). His favorite throwing weapon is a retrievable throwing tomahawk as will be seen today. By default it's not retrievable but with mods it is.

@Renee - I like pausing the game and taking shots from various angles. So far the only battle where I didn't dare to pause the game was when he was fighting the mother deahtclaw.

Deathclaws not only look more dangerous in the Mojave, they are much more dangerous than in the Capital Wasteland as well.

Love his tomahawk looks like he is having a bloody good time with it. I remember having a magical throwing axe in Baldur's Gate II that would return to your hand after hitting its target.

Acadian: Guns are not her go to weapon, but sometimes they come in handy. Like against fire-breathing geckos. It's also a nod to her family history. Her brother Oda cemented his rule over Japan by defeating the Takeda clan at Nagashino with arquebuses.


Renee: Face Off was not a pic I set up. It is from VATS. I often turn off the UI when VATS starts and take a bunch of screenshots, in the hopes that a few turn out decent.


Lopov: It wasn't Nopah. It was a small cave somewhere around Coyote Mines and Ranger Station Echo. It had a bunch of Fire Geckos in it.

I always enjoy watching Jeanie May get her head blown off.

Wow, Hidetaka is quite multitalented – bullfighter, space cowboy, extremity surgeon, exterminator, ninja and head removal specialist!

That space outfit is so silly! Made me chuckle. The samurai hat she's got in in the first pic is really special for her game. I love finding just the right outfits for some characters.

Lee really is getting good with various types of unusual combat. Wow, even a tomahawk! My brother once found a tomahawk (a real one, made by some indian) when we were kids. Our family moved into an area which hadn't been heavily developed, and it had lots of woods behind it. The tomahawk was just stuck in a clutch of grass or something. Its 'blade' was made of some sort of toughened hide, we think. And its haft was carved wood. It had a couple straps holding the 'blade' part to the haft. No metal pieces. No screws or modern fixtures. It was also painted in a real intricate way.

Dang, wish we still had it. I wonder if he still has it. Anyways... bad-ass pics today from Lee!

Hidetaka strikes in Cottonwood Cove. Soon heads of legionnaires will be on pikes instead of their victims.

The space suit not only made her more rad-resistant, it also cut her hair temporarily. But she looks good with short hair too.

The Ninja shot is great, one can even see Hidetaka's eyes.

@Acadian - I remember that axe too and IIRC you got it in the asylum, Spellhold it was called.

EDIT: I was wrong, you found it in the Temple Sewers.

@TheCheshireKhajiit - the world might not know but the Mojave will.
