Thanks, today I don't regret my decision anymore. I played with her right now and realized how much I would be missing if I let her die in the Sierra Madre. And she did just what I wrote in my previous post - absolutely nothing, except strolling around Novac, smoking and being grateful to be still alive.

Four men were waiting, hidden behind rocks along Highway 95. All of them were armed to the teeth. All of them were wearing sturdy reddish ornate armor, given only to the most capable members. All of them were prominent members of the Caesar's Legion, picked by mighty Caesar himself. All of them had one purpose to accomplish on this highway - to kill a girl called Blondie, whom Caesar publicly declared as an enemy of the Legion.

As soon as their leader spotted a figure approaching in the distance, he commanded his subordinates to take their positions. With binoculars he made sure that the person approaching, was the right one. And she was. Slowly walking down the Highway, smoking as usual. She didn't seem so dangerous to the Legion commander yet he was warned not to underestimate her. Not only did she kill several Legion members by herself, she was also an accomplished bounty hunter and was said to even kill some important people on the Strip. She could have been a valuable asset to the Legion, if she hadn't provoked them.

The commander hid behind a rock, waiting for Blondie to come closer. He was convinced that he'll hear her footsteps yet this hasn't happened. Did she stop? The commander carefully looked from behind the rock but he saw no one. Where is she? But at the same time he heard a voice behind:

"Surprise, mother[censored]!"

The last thing which the commander saw was a flashing red light hitting his head. The pain was unbearable, it felt like his head is getting separated from the rest of his body. Which is exactly what happened yet the commander of course didn't know this.

...

Many hours later, when a legion frumentarius, disguised as a traveler, assigned to check if Blondie was successfully executed, arrived to the place of the attack, he couldn't believe his eyes. All assassins were dead, some turned to ash, some shot through and through, and one of them was in pieces. The frumentarius hurried back to the Fort and a few hours later Caesar doubled a prize on Blondie's head.

Nice to catch up with all the desert dwellers.

Glad Blondie turned the tables on everyone out to get her. They always underestimate the little blondes. . . wink.gif

Always nice to turn the tables on the Imperial Caesar's Legion! They get so annoying, so quickly.

Indeed, but I use a mod that spawns them every three weeks. Having them around every three days as it is by default, would be just too annoying.

Don't feel bad, Fallout's not going anywhere. wink.gif

Once again I have to praise Someguy2000 from Nexus, who made IMO some of the best mods for New Vegas, like New Vegas Bounties, Russell, The Inheritance,...if it weren't for him and his creations, I probably wouldn't be playing New Vegas. Just today I launched The Inheritance, which I've never played before, and I'm totally hooked after playing it only for an hour. This man should be an honorary story developer at Bethesda because his content surprasses the vanilla one by far IMO. It might not be for everybody because there's a lot of profanity involved but to those that haven't tried his mods yet, I heartly recommend them.

No, they are the same as Mad Brahmin. They must be angry, upset, or otherwise ill-tempered, right? wink.gif

Interesting, I don't remember encountering Angry Brahmin, only Mad. There were angry brahmins in Fallout 2, though. Even Wiki doesn't mention angry brahmin in the Capital Wasteland. Maybe you discovered something new, mirocu! wink.gif

Oops, my mistake, I read the above posts once again.

Yeah, I'm still in New Vegas (as a game), though Blondie was to actual New Vegas only once. Downloaded some quest mods yesterday which should keep me busy for a long time...
