Is it possible to barter with Salmo The Baker? No matter what time I visit his home (In Skingrad) he doesn't let me barter with him.... yet everyone claims he sells the best sweetrolls.

I'm afraid he never sells anything. You could always take the Sweetrolls he has on his shelves and leave a coin or two in their place.

with morrowind, money was acctually an item (of sorts) and could pick it up as well as put it down.

if your on pc , you can do two things
a. get a mod to solve this issue b . take a cake/sweetroll and using console remove a few coins ( player.removeitem of <number> )  |
