The last thing I saw him in was that dreadful The Hunger Games movie. The first one. Didn’t see the others. I feel like that’s a shame because he was a good actor.

I enjoyed all the Hunger Games movies. Donald Sutherland was outstanding as the evil president.

If you don't like it, you don't like it. No big deal. I tried watching a number of the other Teen/YA sci fi serieses in the 2010s like 5th Wave, Maze Runner, etc... and just could not get into them either. I think the HG movies and novels really hit for me is because they have such a strong focus on oligarchy, class, and the exploitation of the masses. It is also where I first learned about the tactic of the double tap in warfare. I only found out later the the CIA had been doing it for years with drone strikes.
