QUOTE(Acadian @ Feb 13 2013, 04:49 PM) I think it's great that Lothran is L50. The wisdom, experience, white hair - it all works beautifully!
Now when you say it, it has actually worked out kinda nice. Experienced as he is I think level 50 suits him well, along with his white hair. It´s kinda funny though. Buffy has more hours under her belt than Lothran but she´s way younger!

I've stated it before, but since the game has all its monsters in play at level 26, that's where I target my characters' cap. I don't really care that some loot scales beyond that point, but I do want full Liches on the menu.

mirocu, is Lothie over 2K yet? Renee, like you, I never cared for the 'glass bandit' phenomenon. That was one (of many) considerations for capping at 19. Not only do we avoid glass bandits and daedric marauders, but those baddies wear a nice mix. Although it includes some mithril/ebony, we still see quite a bit of leather/fur/iron/steel. Another pleasant discovery we made and UESP wiki verified it is that monsters start appearing on roads and as bosses 2 levels before their stated level. That means that L19 Buffy gets to occasionally see L20 minotaur lords for example. That made me happy to see! The only real drawback, in my opinion, of our L19 cap is when it comes to goblins. At that level most random goblins are shamans. No big deal, but disappointing to fight almost exclusively shamans and see them used as 'foot soldiers' when clearing a non tribal goblin dungeon. Because of the rule I mentioned in the paragraph above, we do occasionally see a war lord which makes for a wonderful change among the sea of shamans. To keep all those varied skirmishers and berserkers and such would have required a cap of like 13-15 and that would have precluded master alchemy gear and. . . well, 19 works well for us.

I wouldn't have a problem with the glass bandits if lesser bandits wearing fur, leather (etc.) were still the dominant force. My prob with the glass bandits is that all the lesser bandits (and many lesser enemies) disappear from vanilla all at once, QUOTE The only real drawback, in my opinion, of our L19 cap is when it comes to goblins. There isn't a mod or a command that fixes this? This post has been edited by Lady Saga: Feb 13 2013, 10:37 PM

He was, long ago. Now he´s around the four digit but he has enough treasures stashed away that he can sell and get enough to buy the whole province QUOTE(Acadian @ Feb 13 2013, 05:31 PM) I never cared for the 'glass bandit' phenomenon. And so do we! Thanks to a great mod of course. Thank Talos I´m on the PC! I thought they looked nice and shiny from far away while lining up the bow
