Ranging, anthing better in oblivion Options

In morrowind i made a guy and did nothing but train his ranging level. After many days of training it i began to think that it was becoming quite boring. I was wondering about the ranging skill in oblivion and if it will be way better. I was also wandering if they will keep crossbows in the picture. If u have any info about this please tell me.

So far i have heard that they will only have bows,but they made it extremely realistic,the arrow arches and with the havick system its fun to shoot things to see what happens.

I heard of that, but I didn't actually read anywhere what is the substantial difference with ranged weapons in comparison to morrowind (besides getting stuck in wood, enemies, ect which is pure estetic)?

thats probably the reason that they are redoing the ranged part of the game. they are probably making much more effective. i wonder, do they have a to-hit roll to determine if an arrow hits still? or will the crosshairs move when you pull back the bow?

I doubt there will be a to-hit roll on arrows since it was taken off from melee weapons. "if it hits, it hits" as they said

but it seems lie i read something somewhere that bows still had a to-hit roll on them....they need to release info on archery.

Whilst crossbows might off been cool to have back I don't think that making bows themselves better was a bad idea.

hmm we all have our opinions, but daikari you are extremely rude when you present yours. calling people idiots and saying something is stupid and crap like that. You really need to learn to be more civil, or perhaps you would like for us to treat you in the same manner

but I used archery in morrowind. and I am realy interested in the new archery system as well. I never cared for crossbows so i'm not upset about their dissapearance.
