Hi there.

I'm new here but googled it to try and find a place where people who want to join a mod-team can go.
I will use the mod tools myself but I want to work on a project that is a large scale conversion rather than a few simple changes.
I work as a games designer so have a fair bit of experience with documentation and the principles of design and layout etc and am looking for other people working on a mod which will not die off after a few months.

If anyone needs a commited rpg-mad designer then pm/email me and we'll havea chat. post links to any websites u have of the mod or give abrief description of what ur doing if at all possible. Oh and I'm in the UK in case that matters for timezone considerations...

Cheers!

Hi there!
I'd like to mention a little bit about the team I'm with. Our soundbyte is: "The Silgrad Tower team aspires to create a believable Morrowind Province setting for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion." Fleshing out that summary would take pages upon pages, but in essence we plan to make a large-scale mod for TES4: Oblivion that will look and feel like the Morrowind Province of TES3 did. But look much better, thanks to loads of custom models and the much improved game engine. We have a showcase on our front page, http://www.silgrad.com/ , so folks can see we're not just blowing smoke about the models.

I can assure you we'll never die off as we've been around for 3½ years by now biggrin.gif

On an average day between 55 and 70 registered users visit our forum, and in total an average of 1575 unique people visit some part of the silgrad.com network. Every day.

I say network because we host upwards of 30 Elder Scrolls websites as well as forums for 4 affiliated mod projects. The latter are separate mod teams which we'll work together with on some levels to create a "super-mod" where players will be able to visit several Provinces. I don't think we're trying to recreate Tamriel, but the playable areas in the different Provinces are sure to be varied and very different experiences for the player.

Feel free to poke around a bit on our website and forum and see if we have something to offer you smile.gif
