I am experiencing a rather annoying bug with this DLC on the PC. Whenever I approach the area around Lakeview Manor, my game crashes instantly. This is really odd as it does not happen around the other houses. I found this on UESPwiki: The system may instantly crash upon attempting to approach the area around the manor. However, I can't seem to find any sloution anywhere.
The thing that really sucks is that Lakeview Manor is the only area in the DLC that appeals to me. -------------------- "When a man lies, he murders some part of the world"

Darkness, just build the base and put your artifacts on it. That also makes a good surface for bones, bloody rags, and various necromancer tools.

Now that I got SKSE working with the 1.8 update, I bought Hearthfire. Flavia has gotten the invitation from the Falkreath Jarl to become his thane and build a house, but has not gone there yet. She has a war to win after all. I did notice that Crab Legs are in the list of things you can cook now. Sounds tasty. But they do not use mudcrab chitin. How do I get the new crab parts? I don't see them in the crabs I kill.

I just found that Hearthfire does not play well with Scenic Carriages. It causes a CTD every time I try to walk near Pinewatch. I looked it up in the wiki, and apparently Lakeview Manor is in the same cell. Somehow this screws with Scenic Carriages. I had to disable it in order to walk to Falkreath. It looks like folks are working on a Hearthfire patch for Scenic Carriages though.
