Dawngard PS3 in doubt... Options

Sure, I understand that folks. I understand cost is an issue for many. I totally get that, it took me awhile to get a second console....thinking and budgeting. I was just letting any potential "on the fence" type of PS3 gamers know about the pros and cons of switching over to another system. I did it, and I'm satisfied.

Eh, I guess it's fair enough. Though to be fair, it's pretty easy to read that suggestion as 'this is an easy problem to solve; just spend lots of money!' and when you read it like that it's quite easy to see why people get annoyed; hell, I read and even though I knew you meant well it put me in the mood to go and storm the Winter Palace just a bit. Now imagine a forum where the atmosphere isn't quite as tolerant as this one's, and, well, are you really that surprised?

Regarding the Xbox Live membership, I do remember getting an online coupon for I think $40 off (almost half), which made it less painful. I got it so The Boy could play his games while cursing at his friends. At least I think that's what he's doing. I just close the door! But my point was, coupons. I think it was through those Amazon daily deals.

It is? Huh. go figure. I've been reading "get a PC, Renee, you can get mods and Console Commands" for years now. It has never bothered me, personally.

Saga, I found your post about Kinect to be helpful, and part of a civil discussion. I won’t presume to speak for Mustard, but I’ll say that I didn’t infer any hostility from what he said. One thing I really like about the community here is that many folks give each other the benefit of the doubt. In print it’s easy to accidentally infer a tone that isn’t implied. I like knowing that I can express myself here without worrying that someone will take offense.

Back on the topic of Dawnguard and the PS3, did I mention that I lost two characters with the last update? DovahKen and Skyrim Jerric became unplayable. I worry about my old, bloated games (Jensa!) and new content. Is this a groundless fear, I wonder?
