I have been playing Dragon's Dogma 2 since it came out on 22 March. I play on PS5 as my PC is no where near being able to run it. Besides, PlayStation is Capcom's native platform, then they port the game to Xbox and PC. People have been complaining of poor performance, but on PS5 it plays smooth as can be.
I'm 300 hours in, I've completed the first playthrough with all the quests that I could find - but I didn't find them all. Then you get New Game + where you keep your level and gear and restart the game. But the game has changed! The world is still unleveled the same as before, and the quests are the same, but some collection quests got carried over, some caves got new areas, etc. I've been finding more quests that I'd missed the first time around, too. I am half way the second playthrough.
I read a post someone saying they've done 200 hours and are already on their SEVENTH playthrough...
It seems to me, they missed the entire game - it is mostly about exploration, the main quest line is indeed quite short. So what's the point repeating the same twenty quests over and over again? I don't get it... But as they say, each to their own.
