anybody know whats meant to happen? i'm really worried that i've hit the end too quickly and ruined it for myself i thought i might have more of a storyline to go yet, maybe i have! but i've been made the champion of (ciridil) i hope thats how you spell it, anyway i'm meant to get a little something in two weeks time but after watching the video clip thing it made it sound like you could become emperor!
is there still more to go MQ wise or is it another morrowind style ending!!!!!!!!

sorry any readers if this did ruin your gaming i did try to warn anybody who has not got this far not to read but i've only got limited tittle space

also surely this could not be the end! its too quick to complete and not very epic!
most inportantly its a morrowind style ending!!!!!!!!

i'd be very gratefull for any replies

Seems you got the same feeling as i did sad.gif
The MQ was so vanilla-like,easy,no big plot twist,no trechery......
Unfortinatly i think that's it.Unlike you,i didn't expect to become the Emperor, but i had my suspicions that Martin may be working on both sides. He was a Daedra summoner when he was young wasn't he?I kinda wanted to see some unexpected twist,to say:What da? blink.gif Bah.......
I should get my new Dragon Armor in a few days.Maybe the plot continues there, but i seriusly doubt it.

as a matter of fact i did not expect to be emperor but in that sequence ting he said that you were to be the scrib of the next elderscroll and that dealing with the empire would now fall down to you! does not this mean what i think it means?

That's it.

Frankly, I liked it. If not for being struck by spoilers before getting that far, I would have never seen the whole transformation thing coming. Hell, I didn't even expect to see Mehrunes Dagon there. Or for him to get pwnt so throughly.

Seemed very epic to me. City being invaded, people fighting daedra, people dying, The Freaking God of Destruction is in town.....

Yea that bit was good particularly the bit later with the dragon and martin rising into the sky and the sequence after but do you think that you can become emporer
as there is now definately no other septim to take the throne and no need for a septim anyway althought i would not be serprised if there was one because ureils children seem to be coming out of the woodwork most inportantly how can they make you the champion of cridil but not make you emperor what with the recent vacancy do you think there could still be a storyline allowing this its just that it seems another morrowind no reward ending! i've betten back the hords of oblivion, invaded oblivion itself and stopped the prince of destruction and am the most powerfull charecter in tamriel and what do you get! the chancelor ocato going oh good now get lost shorty! the b******

Well, one:

Emperor causes problems. Heros come and go. You can write a hero off. You Can't however, write the emperor off. and you can't say the PC was say, a Dunmer male thief, because Player B might've been a Altmer battlemage, or a Khajiit Crusader, etc. The Emperor needs a name, a defined personality and attributes, etc.

Two:

You're the Champion of Cyrodiil. That is, you have proved yourself a effective warrior and Hero.

You however, have not demonstrated any exceptional skills in leadership. Right now, Ocato is better left in power until the council can think of something.

your an idiot dude, this is the "cheats and hints section" this is the place for all spoilers, and this thread had a warning not to read it unless you reached the "temple of the one part", and HyPNO didn't make you read his post.

xycolian,i recommend you edit your post.Name calling (flaming) can result in a warning. And as i see they are really strict on this forum.Friendly warning, then comes the first official warning, then a direct bann.
I mada sligh mistake a few days ago (and i'm sorry about that) and i got only a friendly warning.

And yes, nobody made him read my post. This is the real section for it,the topic is about it,so what's the problem?Besides,i didn't reveal much of a plot.I only said what i expected huh.gif

Whilst I thought the Main Quest was astonishingly well-crafted whilst actually playing it, there is a certain emptiness once you've finished it. Once Mehrunes Dagon is repelled, the atmosphere of the game changes totally. No more Oblivion Gates every time you step into the wildernesse, but a much lighter, happier mood. You really get the feeling of: "What do I do now?" You could go on and become the head of all the major guilds, but somehow it doesn't make sense. It's as if Oblivion ends for me when the Main Quest ends. I have to do what I want to do before completing it.

Power of the Shadow made human flesh,
wakened to turmoil, strife and ruin.
The Reborn One, marked and bleeding,
dances the sword in dreams and mist,
chains the Shadowsworn to his will,
from the city, lost and forsaken,
leads the spears to war once more,
breaks the spears and makes them see,
truth long hidden in the ancient dream.

Heh, then good thing I've been doing just that - I'm still gradually doing MQ stuff between becoming head of everything else - which I've pretty much done now. Just a couple more Daedric and (silly escort-based) Fighter's Guild quests to go. I think when I finish them and then the MQ it'll be time for a *new* character to arise! smile.gif
