recruiting for the guild sounds interesting, and even if i wouldn't make a shop/guild outta my home... it would be great to make houses more important somehow... About the shop thing: you can open your own shop as a master of mercantile already.
how can you recruit than?? and for what guild the fighters guild? (if so, dont know how, but iam master of guild, and i set oryn for getting members but does he really get new recruits?)

I'm not entirely sure (I haven't got the new graphics card yet) But the developers say 'some guilds'. I'm guessing Fighters and Mage, and possibly Theives.
If you want guards for your house then just place them in with the map editor. That’s what I did any. Just select interiors then a house or any building. Then select NPC imperials and then just find the type of guards you want.

You can get a huge mansion by using the Zenith Manor V1.0 mod by Puma all you have to do is download it from www.gamestop.com/ and then go to the pc mod page for oblivion and look for the Zenith Manor mod.
Hey i really didnt know you can Make a Store i have been suggesting that mod since Morrowind came out!!
As for the mod i was so HOPING for was a store you can drop your loot at and people buy it. However, the main part was for other NPC's to buy your stuff, even from other shops. WHY ARE YOU THE ONLY ONE WHO BUYS FROM SHOPS? THAT's A BIT STRANGE! I think it would be cool to have NPC's walking around with items from your stall. Or maybe an easier way to get your own shop, (Havent bought one yet in Oblivion) is just to buy someone else's. Like when you invest 500 you could just buy the store?
