This is originally a thread I made over at Bethsoft on the 25th of January 2010 and I thought it could be fun to bring it over here now at the end of 2015. Maybe we could talk about some of the books we´ve found in-game that we were particularly fond of. Or not wink.gif

I made a list of my favourite books and I´ll re-post it here:

1. A Game at Dinner
2. Immortal Blood
3. Ruins of Kemel-Ze
4. The Black Arrow series
5. The Argonian Account series
6. Surfeit of Thieves
7. Ransom of Zarek
8. Daughter of the Niben
9 The Armorer´s Challenge
10. Master Zoaraym's Tale

I found one book last year and one this year that I´d like to add to this list:

11. The Importance of Where
12. Purloined Shadows

In my opinion these are all great books. What´s yours?

You already mentioned some great books, I'm adding the Third Door to the list and another one which name escapes me now...it's about a thief apprentice and her master - he closes her in a heavily-locked room together with a vampire.

My biggest reader so far was Dyan phor a'Cauz, long ago in my PS3 days. I'll have to look at some titles so I can add it to this thread. I know she was keenly interested in historical stuff, and also anything to do with Aedra and Daedra.

All good choices there, Mirocu. I'm especially fond of Decumus Scotti's adventures myself.

(But, you know, isn't it a trifle impious of you to neglect the good Alessia Ottus's invaluable guides to the cities of Cyrodiil? I hope you haven't been trafficking with Daedra or something...)

Oh, dear. Yes, how did I miss those books? They provide such good, objective information about the cities with no personal biased opinions whatsoever... biggrin.gif

You are not the only necromancer, Mirocu. My favorite books (not counting "The Lusty Argonian Maid," of course) -

Immortal Blood and the entire set of "The Real Barenziah." These are my absolute favorites; but there are several others that stack behind those that I really enjoy. (but I'll stop there for now).
