This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat!
You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum.
But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts.
Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share.

We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums.
It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer.
So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.:
1. No spamming.
We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it.
We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed.

2. No discussion of accounts or warnings.
There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that.
3. No trolling.
No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming.
4. No religion or politics.
No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it.
If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator.
If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator.

Ahhh, .. a new coffeeshop has opened on the block and I see ... no customers inside. Wonderful, I will be the first customer to attend. Maybe they will give me a free donut with my coffee.

A handsome coffee-bartender gives me a steaming cup of coffee and bids me goodday. I sit down and wait for my free donut and more customers to arrive.





... where is everybody??

...and a silent brooding twentysomething dressed in black comes in and orders a coffee. Sits down and starts reading fanfiction by Trey and Kayla.

Mmmm. Good Coffee.

Wow, you are one scarey dude Black Hand! I just sent a pm to Geonox about the people in my MySpace friends list and was just telling him about your cool Morag Tong Avvy and Siggy .... then I look around in the coffeeshop ... and you have entered and are sitting here silently reading.

What stealth. What telepathy. What shivers! Is this how the Morag Tong always operates???

[Pisces]

Sees a steaming hot donut with fresh whiped cream heading over on a plate to Ibis, so I bump into the waiter and steal the donut in one quick movement.

Where is the hot female waitresses?

I take a sip of my coffee, the black leather gloves quietly creaking as my fingers grasp the steaming hot cup.

I look over at Ibis, I smile slightly, and nod to her her saying, "Yes, yes it is."

I then pull out a crossbow with a trout instead of a bolt, and point it at Pisces.

"Relinquish the Donut, Donut-Napper! Relinquish I say!"

Wow, you guys are both so stealthy .... Ibis is getting really scared now! And starting to think and talk like Overlord Khajiit Rainer.

Ibis is so happy to get her fresh piping hot doughnut back that she sits over at the Black Hands table - very interested in what he is reading.

She also unlocks the door where all the foxy cute female waitresses are hidden ... there, that should keep the fish busy. tee hee hee

I look up at Ibis and give the strange sad smile once more.

"Well, you see what Trey has done here and this is great really, is recount his experiences in Morrowind in a form that we read and is really quite engrossing and entertaining. It's even inspired me to write my own series."

"oh and heres another donut. Day old though. Sorry."

That's cool, day olds are more crunchy. I did read the beginnings of your tale of you and your sister in Cyrodiil and left a comment on the site. I hope you will be writing more soon. Is your story posted here at Chorrol yet too?

I didn't look soon enough ... I see The Tale of Sethyas Velas by you at the FanFiction forum. I will be reading that too. How nice to know the author personally. May I buy you a celebratory cuppa cappacino? Or just another coffee?

I appear at the tedge of town. On my right I notice a coffeeshop with a 'just opened' sign. After a moment to think, I look down at my dusty clothes. One handwave later, and it looks as if I just bought them. I step inside and get an empty table.

Another hand wave and a glass filled with deliciously cool water appears in my hand. I take a few sips while looking at the crowd.
,,I'll have the apple pie."


So, how are things?

I like capuccino a lot better than regular coffee. I don't like the taste of coffee very much, though I've tried to like it many times.

Yet another mysterious stranger wanders..... Naah, it's too early. Just give me tea. Oh, and a donut like that nice young lady over there is having.

The grandsons will be arriving on Wednesday evening for 3 or 4 days of merriment, sunburn, wearing out grand-dad... the usual. The big excitement will be to go to Dollywood [groan]. I haven't been there since it was Silver Dollar City. Before which it was Gold Rush Junction, before which it was the Rebel Railroad. Which I rode on when I was 4.

Grand-dad takes tea and donut to a quiet corner to grab a nap.

Am I the only one around here hyped up about Age of Decadence? In short; it's an upcoming cRPG which, to me, seems to be more or less exactly what I've been waiting for a long time now.

Seriously, this is like the coffee shop used to be, I love the idea of the funny aspect of it returning again.

I put down my glass with a smile as the piece of pie arrives. I pull out a bag filled with golden coins drawn out of thin air like usually. What can I say, I like to travel light.

I ignore the complaints about the wrong type of currency as I take in the other customers.

(Alright, enough roleplaying.)

Age of Decadence? Some people say we're already living in one. Sounds interesting though. If it can do what it promises, it will be very good indeed.

Wow aside from dantrag this is beginning to look a lot like soft core porn.

A debaunnaire young gent takes a hard look around, then boisterously makes his way to the back so he can sneak cat feces into the coffee. On his way he sees a young waitress with an eye catching bust, and snaps a smile as he enters the "employee's only" door, raising and eyebrow, as if beckoning her to follow.
