And I've started up a new game of Dragon Age: Origins. This time I'm gonna try playing as an honourable S&S warrior, from the human noble origin. (Aiming for the ending option only they can get)

The ps4 controller is actually kinda cool

It has sorta a speaker, so whenever I turn the flashlight on in the last of us, it sounds like a real flashlight being turned on

Since Alien: Isolation has a game ruining glitch ( ) I've dusted off Skyrim. I'm actually doing quests and not just hanging out with my kids!

At one point in the game (pretty late into it) you need to get inside an airlock. However, there's an invisible wall that blocks you getting into said airlock. Meanwhile, it's noisy so the alien comes after you. I've even tried throwing things at the airlock, but they bounce back!

I've read that the updates should fix it, but I'm currently all updated and still nothing. When I feel more patient, I'll see what else I can do and I'll be sure to update you too

Got the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins today, took a stab at the Darkspawn Chronicles DLC.

It's brutal.

I used the Mecs but their inability to enter cover kind of limits usefulness with my playstyle. I beat Xcom and it was a really refreshing game. The only other turn based strategy games on consoles are the Civ games which are okay but not amazing in my opinion.

Xcom was great because of the vast number of options available in modifying your soldiers and in tackling objectives. I also think that the EXALT missions forced you to mix up your strategy a bit, which I loved.

Darkwing Duck on the NES. Got up to the last boss (Steelbeak) but got pwnd. Thing is a couple bosses took quite a few lives from me before I got the hang on how to avoid damage so when Steelbeak was up I only had two lives left and there I got heat-seeking thingies after me. Got to continue but from the start of the level so I didn´t bother.

Have beaten it on Gameboy though

I am also playing Skyrim, specifically the Dragonborn DLC. I bought it when it came out but hadn't started it until a couple days ago.

Oh my god....

I watched my husband play it so I saw stuff, but it didn't compare to how I felt actually seeing it and playing it for myself. Just little things like shein and sujamma brought back such a joy. I loved hearing the Morrowind music and seeing all the familiar ingredients and netches and my people Dark Elves all over the place.

I felt home.
