I've been doing a lot of building with wood.

In the morning . . . .when you wake up.

Oh deary deary me. You see, when a man has the hots for the woman, any woman, you see, he gets all sorts of strange thoughts running through his head... tongue.gif

Anyway, I'm in the middle of working on a short story that I'm planning to submit for publication; currently shaping up to be a sort of post-apocalyptic story involving the Viking pantheon and seidr (I can't be bothered to copy-paste the proper letter across from word) as its core narrative focus. It looks to be...interesting, at the moment.

And which head would that be? wink.gif

Neat idea. I have never seen a post-apocalypse story take that kind of slant before. Ragnarok indeed.

Nope. It just took me a while to figure out the joke because I'm slow when it comes to jokes.

The project we currently having is moving a firewood shed to our cottage and turn it into a tractor garage. We´ll put it up between the big rock and the pine tree smile.gif

It´s one of our many projects this year in fact.

Thanks for the pics of Chez 'Rocu. This is certainly the time of year to do those things. I'm just imagining what that area looks like under snow in the winter. Brrrr. biggrin.gif

Yay, it’s always fun to see a mirocu snow picture! Good luck with the tractor garage project.

Thanks for the pics Mirocu!

Amazing to see how other people live. Here in Melbourne we are only snowed in by people and a government who refuses to acknowledge that there is any problem. It now takes 30 minutes just to leave my suburb at 8am and another hour and a half to get half way to the city. Lucky that I start work at 6.30 am and avoid the hassle. Looks like you never have that problem.

Loved the snow pic. Wow! I would never see that much snow in 150 years of living in dry, old Australia. You simply must start playing Skyrim. Now!

UnSteamify it, and I´ll consider it... biggrin.gif

UPDATE: We have decided to get the garage but instead of using it as a garage we´ll use it as a workshop, meaning that instead of paying 50.000 for a brand new one we pay 5.000 for an old one that´s still in good condition smile.gif

Now that's good ol' farmer trading!

I live in the 'burbs here, so I understand what Winter Wolf is talking about. But the other day I drove to my sister's house in Sycamore. Now Sycamore is a fair-sized town with no outlying suburbs, so you drive right from town into farm country. On the way in I saw a concrete stoop, complete with wrought iron railing, standing by itself in the yard of a farmhouse, with a FOR SALE sign on it.

What? What?

Then I knew I was really in the country here. This is not something you'd ever see in the 'burbs of Chicago. Reusing a perfectly good concrete stoop (complete with wrought iron railing) on another house. I applaud the idea! (insert Joker clap here)
