TheCheshireKhajiit: Conquest looks like a well done mod. But camping mods never interested me much. And I think I would rather just build my own settlements with the Creation Kit rather than use a mod for it. This way it pushes me to learn how the game works.


Acadian: Persephone building a monster one piece at a time would be ironic! But fear not, she will not follow the same route as her own creator...

I took out her scars, because I do not like how Fallout 4 makes them look. I find I preferred Skyrim's, with all their jagged and brilliant glory.

Man, Ice Bots look scary! Persephone certainly can handle them, but that's the sort of enemy that makes me glad it's them not me that has to deal with these enemies.

Love that camera angle in Malediction. Pers looks like she's right at home, in post-nuclear Boston, lol.

Acadian: The full HDT physics that Fallout 4 has is really nice, with its extra effects like bouncing hair and flapping coat-tails.

The Regent mod that Malediction came from is really outstanding in its artwork.


Renee: The bots are only scary because Persephone has frosted them up with her sword's cryo damage. Then again, Sentry Bots are always scary!

Persephone always manages to find a way to fit into whatever game she makes her way into. I wonder if I could get her into Knights of the Old Republic?

I was thinking about it last night. Persephone would fit into the Star Wars universe perfectly. They have already had Mother Talzin resurrecting a zombie horde in The Clone Wars. And later someone commented on her being killed, but appearing in another season of the show. Dave Filoni replied by saying: "Who said she was ever alive in the first place?" While Talzin and the Night Sisters might be using the Force, they might not be. They always left the source of their magic unexplained. It was clearly not like the stuff that Jedi or Sith were doing.

So Persephone could have been reanimated by some Talzin-like magician. Maybe a Dark Sister, or a Sorcerer of Tund, or someone else entirely. Rather than Varla crystal, her heart would made of Kyber, along with her veins and arteries. It would draw in power from the Force (or whatever magical energy source the Night Sisters use), and use it to fuel her unlife. So she would have the same regeneration, improved physical abilities, no need to breathe or eat, etc...

But I was thinking more of the actual nuts and bolts of modding the game to make playing Persephone work. Portraits, character models, race, powers, etc... It takes a lot of modding to make her really work in any game, even the TES ones.

I know what you mean about the HDT physics - ESO has that and I'm spoiled now too. tongue.gif Those two middle shots are fabulous action shots - well done! And I love how darker ambient lighting really showcases Persephone's eerie eyes.

Ok, time for a Kim-Ly update. Here are some pics of the work she's done on Red Rocket Fortress.

Generator/radio room with beacon broadcast tower.

Settler #1 doing some farming.

Settler #2 on guard duty

Northern wall.

Bus barracks interior (note the sleeping bags on the bus floor).

North wall rampart (note the generator that runs the gate under the walkway tucked behind a cinderblock wall).

Gatehouse closed (note the red light on the switch on the right hand Wall).

Gatehouse open (note the green light on the switch on the right hand wall).

North wall exterior with crenellations prominent.

As usual, I am blown away by simple lighting effects in this game. The sunlight striking the side of that bus makes it look 'almost' real.


SR: Good to see Hecate back in action. The Nuka Girl shot would be such an iconic scene for her movie.

I was gonna say Persephone would work in Star Wars games too, but you are right if you think she wouldn't. You know the Star Wars series much more than I do; last movie I saw was Return of the Jedi back in high school! Or was it middle school? ... Whatever. Bottom line is yes, it's probably not a good idea to spread Persephone too thin.

She looks creepiest so far in Skyrim, imo, by the way. The FO4 version of her doesn't really creep me out much. biggrin.gif

Nice awning over the bus door. I don't know why, but I love those things. (awnings that is, not buses...)

You will never see a bus interior that clean in Detroit...

Cool how you got the door to open with a switch. I never spent enough time with the workshop to figure that out.

The crenels are a great addition!

You should put some gun turrets on that wall. Maybe 20 or 30 heavy ones...


Acadian: I knew that a lethally blonde sniper would appreciate the Azuratastic headshot.

Lol at bodily functions for settler names!

Khajiit is fond of the awning too (its animated!)

The bus is rather clean. Makes a pretty good barracks/defendable wall though!

Khajiit uses a mod that adds pass through conduit connectors that make wiring things a lot easier.

Gun turrets are definitely in the plans for the wall eventually. We really need to get the wall completed all the way around the complex so we can see how things attack. Then we can decide the best way to deploy her turrets.
