I wish it were a little more racially mixed, but this vid captures some genuinely real emotions.
I like how some of them are completely offended by GTA: V, while others seem as though they want to buy it.

I just loved how they are saying: "Oh look he's abusive too!" and "What a loser this guy is!" Because I was thinking the same thing. The three main characters are all douche bags. I think the high point of playing the game would be to get the protagonists killed!

It's probaly best they don't let you be a woman unless they get women writers,when men write a women protaginists it can go pretty badly.

There are still plenty of male writers who can write good female protagonists and vice versa. If they can't write good characters of the opposite gender, don't hire them; they're clearly no good.
Edit: I'd kind of hoped that GTA V would have had a female protagonist on the roster, as it would be interesting to see how a female character would deal with the typically male-dominated world of semi-organised crime. Felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity with three guys.

That is true. All you have to do is write a person first. If you can do that, then you can write a character who is gay or straight, male or female, human or orc, etc... But if you cannot write them as a person first, then no matter what the character is, they will come out flat, stereotypical, and one-dimensional.

Silly video but I can't help but admire the variety of clips. Watching Obama lose his temper like that is something I've never seen before for instance. As a member of an older generation who grew up before PC's, I have seen all too well the isolating effects of modern digital technology. While I have embraced some aspects of it, I've dug my heels in on certain others.
My iPhone stays in my jeans pocket while I'm moving around - walking, driving or horseback riding. It just can't replace the connections with the real world our own senses provide us.

Youtube is not bookmarked in my browsers. It's a real time vortex that I work to avoid (except to follow links from here, or to locate music videos for the other thread).
Recently I've even dumped my cable TV subscription. All my viewing content comes via Internet. Yay for Netflix!

Me too. I used to use Live Journal a long time ago, when social media sites were first getting off the ground. But I found I was spending so much time journaling, that I was not actually living. So I stopped altogether. Whenever I think of Facebook these days, I always think of the old saying "Your face, your ***, what's the difference?" So to me it is ***book.
I do not have cable tv either. I just have internet, and I either watch streaming video from Netflix or dvds. I would rather wait for a show to come out on dvd, and watch as many episodes I want a day, at any time I want, then wait a week between each one.
Oh, if that is the Kevin Spacey club, count me in!

That's because Clydesdales are Scottish, and it doesn't make sense for a Belgian company to be using them. (AB InBev owns Anheuser Busch). They brew Labatt's, but aren't allowed to sell it in the USA, where there's a Labatt USA independent of them, who import it.
Now SABMiller are at least headquartered in Britain, so they could do that. They're really South African, though; and they make Fosters and Pilsner Urquell. They also own Bavaria Brewery, who are obviously Colombian.

Agreed - Spacey is one of those geniuses who understand that personalities are more than just voices and words, they are also physical mannerisms. I could recognize a lot of his impersonations before he even said anything!

There is a station in Florida that tried to get me twice when I've gone through there just pumping gas - the guy comes running out and pumps your gas & washes your windows; then he lifts your hood (bonnet) and wipes his finger on the engine so it looks greasy and he shows it to you. He says he found that oil under some "skirt" in your engine, and that you need @ 200 dollars worth of repairs.
I told him to keep his fingers out from my skirt, that I didn't ask him to check my engine. I called the main company and filed a complaint about them scamming with the headquarters - who said they couldn't do anything because it was a franchise.
Well, a few months down the road the station was on TV in one of those stings done on scammers by 20/20 or one of those shows. I saw it and was really glad I didn't let him talk me into getting the work done.

This was fantastic! That is probably the most silent I've ever seen Bob Hope on stage; and Holy Cow! Dean, Johnny, and George all smoking on stage! I didn't remember seeing people smoking on talk shows, lol.

You might be right on that, maybe change from evil to good or neutral? I noticed they had some for neutral in there too, I've never heard them even when I played through as neutral!
Most of my characters tend toward good to very good karma; but there are a whole bunch of those for specific quests for good characters that I've never heard either. In my game about all I ever hear about is how I helped Brian Wilkes find a home or found the Declaration of Independence. A couple times I've heard about Agatha and her violin. Before I do the quest, I've heard about the Antagonizer and Mechanist, but never heard 3 Dog say I saved Canterbury Commons; or any of the other quests. One time I heard him say I had finally stopped looking for soda bottles, but he never went into the explanation about the Nuka Cola Quantums.
Hearing this made me really realize how much I've been missing, but I wonder why they aren't playing? In all my games, 3 Dog repeats the same stuff throughout the entire game; and it is all stuff from when you first leave the vault.
Throughout the game he continuously talks about "someone else crawling out of that vault, what's going on down there?" - as if it just happened. In my game - never heard him say Misa came looking for her Dad after I came by his studio.
Oh, once I heard him say how she had fixed his signal so he could be heard all over the Wasteland now; but he never repeated it.
I wonder if there is a mod out that prompts him to use more of his dialogue options?
