Buffy uses some unusual units of measurement -

Stone (weight). Old British. 1 stone = 14 pounds.
Hand (height). An equestrian term. 1 hand = 4 inches
Length (short distance). Another equestrian unit. 1 length = 8 feet.
League (longer distance). Distance a Roman soldier could march in an hour. 1 league = 3 miles.

Just use kg and km and make life easy for you
