God is in the details...

It depends what you think of as "God"...

Wow, seeing that both videos are way over an hour long, I just googled the lion sleeps no more and read the description of the book on amazon...

Please tell me you don't take that seriously, 'Rocu

Once you have woken up you cannot again go to sleep. Easy as that. Why do you think that arena was sold out? People are beginning to wake up just like I did in 2009. Well, at least it all began for me then.

It´s not easy perhaps, but dig around a bit. If nothing else, do it for a laugh just like I thought I did on that Sunday afternoon.

Besides, this is the thread for unpopular opinions, right? wink.gif

Yes, yes it is...David Icke was once a well respected sports presenter over here...Then he became a joke...

Sadly...and I'm all for a good conspiracy...Everything he's said since his "Awakening" just makes me want to punch him repeatedly...It really is too much...

The moon landings weren't faked, the Chinese have proved that...And you'd think they'd be the first to discredit the Americans, wouldn't you?...But no, they've photographed the landing sites...Complete with foot trails and everything...

So no, I shan't be taking David Icke seriously at this point...Though will completely respect those that wish to...*Inclines head*...

David Icke is almost as hate-able as Jenny McCarthy.

Almost, because Icke didn't kill anyone.

Oh, as a side note...Our BBC4 channel has a programme on next week, explaining how life would have found it very difficult to evolve on our planet had The Moon™ not been there...

Including - as I mentioned - stabilising the rotation of the planet...And, another fact that I am aware of, the fact that the moon has acted as a meteor hoover...Sucking in the rocks to impact on it, rather than heading down to the Earth...

Just saying is all...

Yep, we owe a lot to the Moon. It is also slowly getting farther away with every rotation it makes around the Earth. One day it will be gone. Thanfully, is a long, long ways off though.

There's a Vsauce video about what would happen if the moon disappeared and earth was flung off in a random direction.

It's really interesting.

It shouldn´t even have been here in the first place. Every scientist says it´s far too big for this planet.

The Moon is the result of a collision with the Earth by a Mars sized object about 3.5 billion years ago, the resulting debris from the Earth and some of what was left of the impactor was thrown into orbit...As these things do, they coalesced again over time, forming the sphere that we know and love under the influence of gravity...Again, as these things do...

The moon is so big because of the debris thrown up by the impact...Chances are The Moon as we know it wouldn't have been there without the smash, granted...

Other scientists say this too...'Cause it's been, to a point, proved...Moon rock is mostly the same as the Earth rock...And no, the other planets are different chemically...Also proved...

Actually sound advice.
