I only shoot Deathclaws and Feral Ghouls...
I went to the range this morning and sighted in my new iron sights on my Daniel. I did pretty good once I got the sights in. I gave the vortex optic some tweaking too. It was shooting a little low at first, But I got it fixed. Now my shoulder aches. That .308 bucks a lot more than the .556. -------------------- |

The .308 is not far from a .30-06 (but with a flatter trajectory) so I reckon it packs almost the same punch. Especially compared to .556
Tidbit: Even though .223 is basically .556 we can only use .223 in civilian guns over here. .556 is reserved for the military. -------------------- Lol bird

The .308 has a shorter case than the 30-06, because propellants have improved, so they can push a round at the same velocity with less gunpowder. The bullets themselves are in the same range of grain. There is an article about it here.

I wouldn't mind switching to a .308 hunting rifle but the shop is two hours away and the license two months away so meh.

The .455 Webley (6 shot). and the .38 ACP (8 Shot).
