I've been watching Markiplier walkthrough of Resident Evil 7 and boy did Capcom go all out on it. There's roting meat and flesh everywhere which makes you thank the divines there's no smell option in the game. As far as its connection with the other RE in the series, from just what I've seen the Los Palagus parasite has to be involved somehow. The connection between 7 and 4 are to similar, also the family is creepy. In all interesting game.

Played the first hour of number 7 and loved most things they did- the awesome graphics, frights, audio, gore, unsettling wife. My only complaint is the game gives you little idea how each battle should play out. Sometimes you just waste ammo when the battle has meant you to just run and hide to make the game progress. Annoying.
Loved Zero. I did play it back in 2002 on game cube and it brought back old memories. Being trigger happy I ran out of ammo there too.
Will play the remake of 1 at some later point.
Ha! I have lost my touch on Capcom games. Best that I go back to Fallout.

Games I am playing- Dead Island Fallout NV/Fallout 4
I don't know if I'll do a LP of the new Resident Evil game, IF I do it'll be in VR if or when I get one. Speaking of which I did see Angry Joe's review of it and it seems to be pros and cons on wither you're playing the VR or the standard version. VR is REALLY immersive BUT it fades to black in most scene and makes Ethan be nothing more then floating hands and there's hud issues. However aiming is easier and the action is REALLY in your face. If I get the VR version it'll be interesting to play.
No I could rescue Jill but I couldn't find Rebecca to save her from the Hunter. If I remember correctly if that happened Wesker would drop a key so you could at least rescue Jill since the Auto Destruct wouldn't be active.
