Chorrol.com _ Oblivion Mods _ ImpeREAL Empire - Unique Castles for Open Cities Reborn

Posted by: Thomas Kaira Apr 6 2011, 06:12 AM

ImpeREAL Empire - Unique Castles is a mod by SilentResident that aims to make the castles in the game look more unique. This is accomplished by adding various eyecandy extras to the castles to make them look more regal and more... well... castle-like.

Unfortunately, it was impossible for Open Cities Reborn users to use this mod due to the inherent conflicts between the two mods, as many of the castles were repositioned during the making of OCR.

...But not anymore!

With SilentResident's endorsement, I have been hard at work over the past couple of days repositioning his additions and, in some cases, completely starting over where the changes OCR made were too great for SilentResident's modifications to be prudent. The result is this:

Castle Cheydinhal is still a work in progress, as Cheydinhal's layout was "reborn" only very recently. I am getting close to finishing it, however.

Does it mess with the interiors? Quests related to NPCs or Counts (and their quarters) inside the castles? Does the Anvil one mess with the DLC "Thieves Den?"

(and if it changes the interiors as well, do you have screens of the changes?)
