My idea is quite simple
why to soul gems only reach 1600 wen enchanting a weapon with only a 85 max magika use with each hit... i think the range of soul gems should continue untill about 30,000 with more that 85.... i mean why does the fire damage counter go all the way up to 100 damage... when the soul gems cant take it  |

Are you sure you haven't just been using too weak soulgems? Try a grandmaster on a Golbin King... or a Black Soulgem on a Bandit.
