You're in the right hold, but it's a little ways from Morthal proper. It's right around the corner from another notable Hjaalmarch location.

Well, the only main quest location in Hjaalmarch that I can think of, is Ustengrav. But I don't remember a ruined shack nearby, so even if this answer is correct, it isn't a genuine answer. smile.gif
