Due to extreme computer issues, you probably won't see me online for at least a few days. Long story, but I gave a summary in the computer issues thread in the general discussion subforum.

Buffy's fortunes have been good. She'll be able to contribute another set.

Hopefully will just be a matter of picking a character who is the same alliance as the current owner of the desired town at the time.

I have good Aldmeri and Ebonheart characters to send; but if Daggerfall is holding I will just have my baby "Lita" (formerly Grunting Calia). She was a bank mule for five years; so has no combat skills yet. Rader has been helping her by taking her through Undaunted Pledges; but she is still pretty raw.

Thanks to Ghastley for our first Set in full = I had completely forgotten about them, but his donation reminded me. I have plenty of Master Writs that need doing; so will def be contributing too!

It is odd they said it that way; because I have gone into all three towns when they were owned by opposing Alliances to get the skyshards; why would it HAVE to be owned by our Alliance to get the tables? Is it triple-guarded or something? (I guess I'll find out soon enough, lol).

QUOTE(ghastley @ Feb 20 2020, 03:32 PM) *

When Update 25 drops with Harrowstorm dungeon DLC on the 24th:

"Additionally, there are new Cyrodiil crafted sets! These item sets are crafted from stations that are inside the 3 capturable towns: Vlastrus, Cropsford, and Bruma. In order to reach these areas, you must first ensure your alliance has control of the town, so prepare to spill blood!"

Do we need to plan any guild-level activity to make it possible for mALX to do the work? I sent her one set of tables, but we can't use them until they're attuned. And she'll need the other two sets soon.

Thank you so very much for (the full set of tables) = that was AWESOME!!! I am really glad you reminded me how close it was getting to the time they would drop!!! They had completely slipped my mind until you sent that! (urgh, lol).

I have tonight free to spend in Tamriel. No plans but would love to get together with some guildies. wub.gif

mALX I will be sending some Master Writs for you to use any way that will help. (Sell or trade, whatever.)

I have at least one character who can help with a Covenant escort. I think Darnand and Abiene are Covenant. Either that or we can bring a team to flip the towns that we need. Maybe. I think those towns will be soaked in blood for a while until the crafting station feeding frenzy abates.

My Attunable Tables "Supplier" no longer plays ESO; (so buying the tables with gold might be out of the question now) = vouchers may be our only way of getting them now; although we may be able to catch random ones being sold at Guild Traders.

I have close to 300 Master Writs for 5-7 vouchers each that I had Misa start into doing them right after Ghastley reminded me that we needed them, urgh.

Oh darn! Well I will scrounge up some vouchers, then. Definitely we will want a running tally of which pieces we still need once the buying starts.

Thank you!!

Just sent mALX another full set of 4 tables. Combined with what I believe ghastley has sent, that should put us at 8 out of 12, with only 1 of each type still required.

The tables are all AT the Guild Hall; I just have them set outside for right now = too tired to set them up properly tonight. I'll start trying to work the tables in tomorrow.

For anyone who knows anyone else trying to get them = you HAVE to own the towns they are in or the armory won't let you in the door at all. So be prepared to fight for them.

They will let you come back into the Non-CP campaign with another Alliance character though; so it took me a lot of flipping characters, (because sometimes ownership has flipped again when you get back over there, lol). Anyway; I finally got them all, lol.

Huge Thanks to everyone who donated tables!!! Grits, if you can hang onto those till May/June, we will def need them then!

Wow! 12 tables and all attuned in high threat areas. I'm sure you're relieved, mALX and deserve to take a bit of a rest/break before starting the tedious rearrangement of them. Thanks so much for the beautiful job you do with our guild hall. Hug_emoticon.gif

The Guild Hall wouldn't be anywhere near as nice without ya'll's help!

But yeah; getting it in Cyrodiil where you have to ride so long through enemy territory just to get to the Armory = only to get there and find out it has changed hands (as you are slaughtered by the exact Alliance you just changed characters from because the town was owned by your current Alliance just minutes before - and getting killed means getting sent ALL the way back to your base zone; urgh.

I hate to admit it; but twice I got all the way inside the armory only to discover I'd forgotten to change the Attunable tables from the last character to the current one = URK!!!

And you have to take ALL 3 Flags to get the Town; which anyone looking at their Cyrodiil Map can see you are attacking the Keep and they will hop right over there to stop you from taking it, Grrrrr.

And after all the fighting you do to just get to the Armory steps = then you find out that the Armory Guards are still your enemies despite your Alliance owns the Keep now.

So I have to say = these Sets were the absolute worst ones I've had to get yet. The one with the hellishly long quest to get to was even easier than this. And the Imperial City tables were no problem in comparison. I may just spit on these tables every time I pass them in the Hall, laugh.gif

But seriously = all you all who help by donating tables = you can't imagine how much of a burden you take off my doing that!!!!! That is absolutely HUGE to me !!!!!!! Doing the Master Writs is the absolute worst part of it to me!

At least the chance of them doing it again in the next update is as near zero as it could be.

I suspect there was a less stressful way to do the attuning run, but I don't know it. And I'd imagine the usual transitus route wouldn't work when you most need it. Those towns would be in a lot of dispute while everybody's trying to do the same thing.

Guild meeting coming up! Time to start thinking about what we want to do, which will doubtless be a dungeon if there's four or fewer, and a zone's world bosses if there's more. Or sometimes both, or neither. tongue.gif

I wonder if we'll see King Coin? He hasn't been seen here for over a year, but we've encountered him in-game recently, building up a new character, and he's still on the guild roster. Last time I looked, he'd reached level 24, and may just have attempted a group dungeon (FG1) or blundered into it while exploring the area. I'll whisper if I see him around and invite.

Buffy will be there.

We're quite comfortable with one of Friday's pledges (Arc Corinium from Redbeard) and would be happy to do that one. She always likes WBs (but not DLC ones very much, lol). And we're also of course open to other ideas.

I have discord text with KC and just reminded him as well.

If anyone else would like to be healer for our adventures let me know. We are not trying to hog the role. tongue.gif Buffy would be happy to serve as primary healer, backup healer or dps and can change variant/setups to support any of those roles.

I can bring Floozie (Templar healer) or Wizwen (Pet Sorc healer, so not as competent) if that avatar of Buffy needs a rest. Just don't expect the same level of experience, as they've mainly played solo. tongue.gif

Or we can all slot our best self-heals, and hope.

I was thinking that while getting these = unbelievably ridiculous trek if we didn't have some better access to them than going through all that every time.

That will be AWESOME !!!! Thank you so much for the help, that will be amazing!!!

You know, having them in Cyrodiil wasn't even that bad; but to make it where your Alliance HAD to own the Keep before you could even go in the door was way over-doing it. I managed to get the skyshards in those towns without our Alliance owning them; and could have easily grabbed them the same way if they didn't have it set up where they are locked away from you until your Alliance owns them.

I made numerous trips to get there only to have to stop and change characters; come back with the next Alliance only to find it changed back AGAIN to the former Alliance when I got there. It was ridiculous. And the locked campaigns keeps you from doing that because you can't flip Alliances with those campaigns.

Really glad that is over; and OOPS!!!! Thanks to seeing this post I just remembered = I haven't put the tables out yet! Urgh. Sorry Everyone, I'll get to it this week.

There will never be a transitus route to Vvlastrus; and rarely will one ever reach Bruma. Cropsford is on a transitus pretty regularly by either Ebonheart or Aldmeri; but it is the only one.

I think flipping Alliances is the easiest way if you are solo down there (don't come in a group capable of taking a town by yourselves) but like you pointed out = the reason for it flipping so many times that day was that it was the first day; and everyone was going for those tables that day. If we'd waited till it settled down, it probably would have been easier.
