After Super Mutants Hecate meets Furry Mutants. At least they're friendly, though. What a big book! Even bigger than the Black Books of Hermaeus Mora. The child is not to be blamed for the summoned creature. Ovens in Skyrim at least work compared to those in the wastes. She seems to be quite high on that fallen tree. I don't recognize the location, though.

Renee: I am using a Breezehome mod, and the giant book is part of it. It is the readme for the mod. Obviously the author wanted people to read it! The phantasm-thing is a summoned Cyclone, from my Aedra Summoning mod. It is just a Storm Atronach that I renamed to make it an Aedra. That is all Hecate summons, at least so far. Hecate's superhero outfiit is her only clothes! Nothing else looks nearly as good. Acadian: I don't have a lot of experience with fighting dragons. I usually never see them in my games! For things so gigantic, they are gosh darn difficult to hit when they are flying around. I am using a mod that reskins them, and I cannot remember if makes them tougher as well. They are not easy fights, that is for certain. Lopov: There seem to be more mutants in Skyrim than in the Wasteland! But at least the Skyrim ones seem better behaved. At least most of them. OTOH, in the Wasteland the humans are the feral ones! I might even actually do the Hermy Mora stuff in Dragonborn for once. At least the way it is supposed to be done. I typically work around the entire DB main quest so I don't have to do it. That fallen tree is the one in south-west Eastmarch, that goes across the big river ravine. The area north of Ivarstead. There is always a bandit sitting on top of it. It makes me think of King Kong. What a wonderful set of shots! Heh, to an archer, a 'ward' spell simply marks her target. I remember that area with those skellies standing so conveniently all together in a puddle of oil to light off. Love Hecate's Stormie. 'Only One' is a cool shot and marvelously titled. Buffy tried that big ponytail but felt like it was bigger than she was and Superian teased her. Hecate wears it well though. Speaking of Buffy, yes, that is exactly how she feels sometimes! Has to jump up onto the counter to get a clerk's attention. Relaxing by the fire is just magnificent! The cozy feel, beautiful room and Hecate's pose is picture perfect!

The Miraak stealing souls thing only starts when you've read the first book at his temple. Before that, he doesn't know about you, so he doesn't interfere. As you point out, it will happen anywhere after that, even if you return to the mainland.
And you get them all back when you finally defeat him.

Acadian: Those ward spells do make aiming much easier in the dark! That ponytail probably is bigger than Buffy! Lopov: The Miraak Cultist masks make me think of Cthulhu. The Cyclone has a bad habit of getting in the way and blocking Hecate's shots. Or it stands back and flings lightning bolts instead of intercepting the bad guys charging at Hecate. So I have been experimenting with other critters to summon. When she was lower level she had ice wraiths and salamanders (just an ice wraith I gave a fire effect too), and they worked great. But sadly they do not survive a single hit anymore. ghastley: I didn't know that about Miraak. None of my characters have ever actually fought him. I was not planning on going to Solstheim until after the vanilla game's main quest, so it won't be an issue. Does Hecate prefer the endless desert of the Mojave or snowy Skyrim with flying deathclaws? Doesn't matter, she seems at home in both place. Her glasses fit very good with her outfit, they don't seem out of place at all. I guess they're even more interesting because nobody else in Skyrim wears them. Men seem to be fond of Hecate. More great sniping shots. Off-topic: good to see you again, Winter Wolf!

Acadian: That horned hat does have some serious frost resistance though. Hecate wore it as far back as Windhelm. Then once there were people around she had to put it away of course. I have been thinking about what you said about Kitsune, and decided to the same. I create a new summons just for Hecate, that won't spoil her shots. No good pics of it this time around though. Winter Wolf: Hecate does kind of miss her Mk14 and M110. But she is gotten used to her black bow. More often than not, she is still living up to her creed: "One shot, one kill." Lopov: Hecate definitely thinks Skyland is so much nicer to live in. You don't have to eat 200 year old Salisbury Steak, and you don't get radiation poisoning from what you do eat. There are an awful lot of mutants, but most of them seem better behaved than in the Wasteland. Hecate would not be Hecate without her glasses. I was glad I was able to find a mod with a decent pair. It was actually harder finding decent glasses in Fallout 4. The flying deathclaw in the first screenie blends so well with the wall beneath that it's hard to see. Then again, I'm using my computer at work (night shift) so at my home PC it'd probably be brighter. Twilight is a great shot. Hecate is becoming adept at killing dragons, I mean deathclaws. She better not wish for cliff-racers to appear in Skyrim. Hecate is the Deathclawborn. In the Mojave she never met a friendly deathclaw, I bet.

Acadian: I experimented with a few different hairstyles when I was trying on a helmet that would keep her hair. I didn't use the helmet, but stuck with the new hairstyle! Renee: Hecate is indeed doing the main quest, dragons deathclaws and all. I don't recognize most of it either, since I have never gone more than halfway through the MQ before. Lopov: I know what you mean about the greenish dragon flying deathclaw in the one pic. With the light being so low, it blends into the background of the word wall like a chameleon. Maybe it is a Chameleon Deathclaw? Anything but Cliffracers! Hecate did meet three friendly Deathclaws. In FO3, when escaping from Raven Rock there is a Deathclaw in a cage that you can set loose. It will not attack you, but goes after the Enclave instead. At the end of Broken Steel there is another Deathclaw in the Enclave's air force base that you can likewise set free, and it will fight with you against the Enclave. In Fallout 4 there is a quest where you can claim a deathclaw egg. You can either sell it, or return it to its mother. If you do the latter she refrains from tearing you to shreds. So that is three friendly deathclaws against one friendly dragon. I suppose you could count Odaviing and Durnevheir, but you have to defeat them before they are willing to serve you. Acadian: The funny thing is the giant dropped dead an instant after the dragon did. I had to use the console to revive him (the giant). Then he attacked Hecate! Talk about gratitude... Who ever would have thought cows might have only one head? Skyrim is filled with muties... Lopov: Considering the slop that giants eat, it probably didn't mind the dragon halitosis. I actually did Sirius a vampire drain power, but it did not work right. It would get stuck on the first target he killed with it, and keep going afterward in a straight line back to wherever Sirius was. If you got in between them, it drained your health too. I love the thought of Hecate following in the Wheet Bandit's shoes! Great shots! Odahviing. Awwww. Flying High. Welcome to the rarified world of Dragonriders! Dark Deeds. Wonderfully mystic with Hecate’s spirit bow and spirit wolf. Sovngarde Awaits. Wow, what a sky! Nice to get some ancient Nordic helpers to take on the Big Bad.
