Okay, I got 6 crates:
16 gems for potions/food/drink I returned The AKAVIRI Motif full set !!!!!!!! (I only needed 7 pieces, but they were 50,000-100,000 each!) The Pocket Mammoth pet that I wanted so badly !!!!! (Britta will be grabbing it soon) A Senche Tiger Cub pet !!!!!!!!! (Misa has this one out right now) A turquoise Nixad pet! A costume "Mages Leggings Outfit" A "Mechanist" Tiara (then purple lipstick; an ugly rebreather hat; and 2-3 ugly face markings) ** So overall = I am VERY happy with my crates today !!!! Oh, and I forgot to mention that red spiked hair that Jerric got and the 4 Crown XP scrolls, lol. The spiked hair is a big "No," unless Bubba likes it = just like the purple lipstick, lol. But honestly = I was due something good, since all the last three free crate events netted me nothing worth even writing about, lol. -------------------- |

Opened one crate- nothing to write home (or here) about, so moving on...
Trey went to Rivenspire to hunt a rogue lizard and do a little fishing- he now has 3 rare fish to his credit- well, he did have, but sold them since after being caught they are just inventory clutter.... He then continued the most excellent tour of haute's Homes of Tamriel, which was a most enjoyable experience. The Velothi house made him homesick, but then the simple elegance of the Cyrodiil home was a tonic to the weary soul- a quiet refuge to leave adventuring behind for a time and to remember the important things in life. -------------------- The dreams down here aren't broken, nah, they're walkin' with a limp...

opened my crates this afternoon
Got a lot of useless stuff plus stuff I already got in the last crown crate giveaway, which then were automatically converted to gems. Ended up with 164 crown gems. Used them to get the stuff I really wanted for my gang - the Arctic fox (well, it's not the fennec, but still), a new leopard cub for Phae, and a couple of other things I really can't remember now . . . Anyways, I had fun showing Trey around the Pact and Dominion homes we own. Alise's Velothi Reverie is coming along quite nicely, and even though the Cyrodiilic Jungle House is far from finished, it is a lovely place to sit on the porch and watch the rain. I'm glad Trey enjoyed the tour, it was a lot of homes to see! -------------------- |

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Maz was out Tuesday night picking up surveys. One took her to Reaper's March right next to a WB. We realized she has not yet cleared all the WB's in Reapers. A quick peek at our friends list showed that my friend Bear was online with Walks. Maz has adventured with Walks before and knew he is a reliable fighter. So we pinged him with our magical whisper spell and asked if he wanted to help us with that boss.
Walks responded fairly quickly but while Maz was waiting behind the boss (a vampire lord, if i recall correctly), got tangled up with a dolmen and another WB on his way to us. Maz got nervous waiting and decided to go ahead and start the fight. Took us a while. But we beat that sunuvbutch into the ground. Walks showed up in time to see the dust settle. It was then we learned that Walks had not yet tackled any of the WB's in Reapers. As Maz still had three more, we decided to team up and work our way around. Maz also got that last dolmen she needed. Two tanks adventuring around taking on all comers was quite fun. Well, Maz technically isn't a tank, but she has high survivability these days thanks to her Thunderbug and Warrior's Poet set. And she welcomed the chance to work on her resto skills. One was a near perfect takedown - the WB site held a boss lurcher and a boss strangler. Walks took on the Lurcher and kept him in place next to the strangler, while Maz tackled the carnivorous plant. It allowed her to lay down her healing AOE and keep Walks buffed while wearing down the strangler on her own. She finished up one shot behind Walks. It was kind of like having simultaneous orgasms!    Anyway, Maz has now officially soloed two WB's and a dolmen. What's next? We are thinking public dungeons. -------------------- |

They do have a wooden plaque that you can put a fish on sort of like a wall trophy = Haute has done it at her Autumn's Gate house. I was going to do it at the Guild Hall right before they came out with those wall trophies; so I ended up using them instead. I think I got all the crates- I am just opening one per day- kind of like a "The Half-Dozen Days of Going Back to Work after a 2-Week Vacation" treat....
 Trey did some more work in Rivenspire- and is still adjusting his thinking to accommodate "Not ALL Vampires = Evil". His own less than completely legal past makes him a bit more willing to believe in redemption- or at least more flexible in his morality... -------------------- The dreams down here aren't broken, nah, they're walkin' with a limp...

tbh, as interesting to see the mechanics of Towers explored in a game (especially considering the Adamantine Tower zone and quest was scrapped) Rivenspire's storyline wasn't the best.
Anyways, it's been a long time since I've even attempted a Dolmen. Are they harder than they used to be? -------------------- |

I used to be able to solo them with Misa = haven't been able to since One Tamriel. In the same patch they made the World Bosses beefed up too; and suddenly she couldn't solo them anymore either. When she noticed the one at Zabamat (in Stonefalls) opening up, she wandered over, to see if she could help. Nobody there but her. I think she died five times before she succeeded. However, she's ten levels higher than Spreads, and has better equipment, so it was less onerous than the dolmen. She still didn't manage all the bosses, but did complete the quests.
