Here you go McB, but there are really two versions, the one most everyone sings now but there is also a Scottish version that is mostly the same, except you sing it with a Scottish brogue....(actually a few of the words are different, lol)

A very belated, but heartfelt Happy New Year to all.

There were parts of the past year which I am glad to consign to the past-but there are far more that I am happy to carry with me into the new year.

And my friends here at Chorrol, your wonderful stories, your giving hearts, your wonderful friendship- THOSE are definitely on the list to "bring along."

Here is a thread, started by dear minque a year ago that is most appropriately and well-worth resurrecting for a time. It's sort of fun to see what we wrote to each other at this time a year ago as we now review surviving the end of the Mayan calendar and other concerns from a year ago and dream of the potential bounty a new year can bring.

I have family in Western Australia and they are already into 2013!

My elf and I wish everyone a magically wondrous New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! I was the driver last night, so my year has been pretty good so far. Unlike others in my household (all right, just the one) who have already found the bottom of the Advil bottle.
