We need to get someone up on the roof to shovel it off. We got probably 3 feet of snow on it. Which is no bueno, it weighs tons. And, it's hanging off the edge. Like a cantilever. So I'm like nope not working under that...

Sure does. At my first job we had a smaller part of it collapse due to our new boss being stupid and not ordering one of us up there to shovel the snow off.

It's a pretty low pitch roof. Can walk on it easily. Just have at it with the shovel.

I tried to have Mikael do it one year, he doesn't have the stamina for it, and I'm afraid of getting on the roof, so we just hire someone to do it.

Though tbf, you shouldn't need your boss to tell you someone needs to do it. Should be common sense.

Company were gonna call does handyman, spare farmland and misc jobs. They shoveled our roof a few times a couple years ago. When we had the last really bad snowstorm.

I wish our roof wasn't so flat.

IIRC, we did ask him if we should go remove the snow but he didn't want us to. Production was more important.

He WAS an idiot; he ran the company down through bankruptcy even though we had jobs coming in and we weren't out of money. From March 13th when we got the message of bankruptcy (via telephone from the attorney) till May 30th when we went home, we never saw our boss again.
