Just another silly thread to pass the time: What would you, as a person (not a game character) like or love to eat? And what would you hate or dislike? This can be from any game or game company, not just Bethesda. It can be foodstuffs, drinks, or actual ingredients.

Morrowind:
goodjob.gif -- Bread, Comberries, Marshmerrow, Saltice, maybe Wickwheat if it's prepared a certain way. Ash Yams sound yummy, but this depends if they also taste like ash. unsure.gif Even though I'm mostly vegetarian, I could go for Crab Meat as well, if I really had to, just because there isn't much else to eat in the game.

Maybe I would've dabbled with Moon Sugar at some point. No Skooma though! Some of the liquor in this game looks appetizing, like Shein or Sujamma (sp?) One of them is supposed to be rice wine, iirc. Matze, too.

kvright.gif -- Hound Meat, Scrib Jelly just sounds yucky. Kwama eggs; anything from an insect, yicch!

Oblivion:
goodjob.gif -- Apples, Oranges, Bread, Blackberries, Carrots, CHEESE. Grapes. Onions, Potatoes, Pears, etc. Corn, Garlic, Flour. RICE. For some reason, Summer Bolette Caps look yummy. 🍄 Sweetcakes, Sweetrolls, and so on.

I could do Aloe Vera and St. John's Wort too. smile.gif For medicinal purposes. I'd definitely gulp the various vintages too: Surilies and Tamika's. 🍷 Beer or Ale occasionally.

kvright.gif -- Any kind of meat, except maybe Crab Meat (it'd have to be fried into crab cakes, though). No Ham, no Mutton, etc. No Cheap Wine, and no Mead!

Fallout 3/New Vegas:
goodjob.gif -- Think I'd love to chow on anything sweet in FO3. Dandy Boy Apples, Mutfruit, Apples, Fresh Carrots, or any type of fruit/veggies, Jalapenos from the Mojave, Banana Yucca Fruit, even Sugar Bombs for dessert (I figure these are no different from Corn Pops). Blamco Mac & Cheese, yes. Potato Crisps for junk food. Instamash! laugh.gif I'd look forward to Jennifer Stahl's Noodles, since I figure she's got an actual kitchen to make them yummy.

"Most of it's edible. Some of it even tastes good!" she promises.

kvright.gif -- Brahmin or Salisbury Steak. Bloatfly Meat, Mirelurk Cakes, YUCK! ... Ant Nectar sounds nasty.

Anyway, share. If ya dare. And now I'm hungry.

Gotta try S’jirra’s Famous Potato Bread to find out why it’s famous.

And was Morrowind’s Muck an edible, like Mississippi Mud Pie?

Not wanting to try ESO’s Spoiled Food, obviously. Or the Spicy Nightshade Crisps.

And Larks Tongues in Aspic should be listened to, not eaten.

Those naturally barbecue flavored imp chips are the rizz!

ES games: Bread, of course. Especially freshly baked, still warm from the oven. S'jirra's potato bread among it of course.

Saltrice of course, and served with some sort of fish in a tempura-like dish. I can't think of any 'normal' fish in Morrowind except for the slaughterfish. But Skyrim has all the usual types like salmon, so we might assume they have the same around Vvardenfell.

No ash yams. I hate yams. blech.

Crab always sounds good to me, especially those giant Morrowind mudcrabs.

The Fallout games? Oh boy, some 200 year old Salisbury steak sounds just awful. But mac and cheese is always passable. I think I could go for the mutfruit or punga fruit, and probably some radstag steak or brahmin stew.

TES Series: Skyrim and ESO introduced a slew of tasty sounding dishes to try.

Fallout Series: I would have to try a bowl of mirelurk bisque!
