QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 13 2017, 11:42 AM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jan 13 2017, 06:16 PM) Uggh, Khajiit feels like he got hit by a truck. Stupid flat tire yesterday making this one use his muscles and stuff.
That is never a good thing, eh? Lol, we'll put it this way: if Khajiit was an RPG character, he would probably fall into the scrawny mage category rather than burly warrior!

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 13 2017, 12:03 PM) I think most of us would Ok, I may not be scrawny but I'm not burly either After tugging and tugging on the tire iron, this one finally had to resort to jumping up and down on it to loosen the lug nuts! (Keep in mind Khajiit is like 5'6 and 130 pounds soaking wet, so this was probably an amusing scene for anyone who might've been watching, lol) This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Jan 13 2017, 07:48 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 13 2017, 02:23 PM) Which is why I always keep a yard long pipe in the car. It's useless for self-defense but very useful to loosen up lug nuts Tonight's weapon to take out of the safe; the .22 levergun I bought new last year Ooh that's a good idea about the pipe. This one may pick one up later today. You like your lever gun? The only ones Khajiit has seen in action in real life was a 30.30.

It doesn't look much but it gives you a lot more strength. Just make sure it really fits over the tire iron QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jan 13 2017, 09:50 PM) You like your lever gun? The only ones Khajiit has seen in action in real life was a 30.30.
It's not perfect but I like it very much. It has a fifteen round capacity mag though so I guess it may soon be classified as an assault rifle I have not dealt with higher caliber than .22 Win Mag when it comes to leverguns but I have glanced quite a lot at the new Henry in .45-70

Would love to take a gander! As for your .22, do you have a scope on it or do you just use the iron sights? This post has been edited by TheCheshireKhajiit: Jan 13 2017, 10:09 PM

QUOTE(mirocu @ Jan 13 2017, 03:11 PM) Here is Hickok45 showcasing it at the compound QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Jan 13 2017, 10:07 PM) As for you .22, do you have a scope on it or do you just use the iron sights?
I must have been affected by afforementioned hickok because I'm going full iron sights now. Even dismounted the scope I had on my .30-06. I have been aching to try the sights on it anyway, tbh Khajiit thinks that it would depend on what kind of gun he's shooting a 30.06 out of to decide between scope or iron sights. If a regular hunting rifle, he'd probably want the scope. If something like an M1 Garand, he'd be interested in using iron sights.

QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Jan 10 2017, 05:23 AM) Urgh, there's a bad start to the day for ya: Go down the doctor's for my appointment this morning. It wasn't anything major, just needed to get my prescriptions reauthorised. The appointment was for 9:20, and I was there ten minutes early. I didn't see the doctor until about 10 o'clock. Because the doctor I had an appointment for doesn't actually start until 9:45, so the receptionist who booked my appointment screwed up. So now I'm back, and having a cup of tea.

QUOTE(Callidus Thorn @ Jan 13 2017, 05:41 PM) Two days of cold medicine has helped quite a bit. Still haven't shaken it, but I'm breathing easier and coughing less. Hopefully it'll have cleared up by monday, but if it hasn't I'll have to go see the doctor again.
Hope you feel better soon
