Description

This is the Beta to test out a few things. I am working on a project that will incorporate these scripts once I get all the moders resources as well as a few other things that I am currently working on like getting permission from other moders for use of there textures as well as looking for artists to supply me with new textures as well as new meshes. Here is the link to My Oblivion Website that I am currently working on redesigning. Right now there is a main project on it that I am currently changing and moving to a side project since all it does is combine all the official plug-ins into one plug-in and fixes issues and bugs with the official plug-ins. (Just the ESP Files)

But to get back on track The links to the Beta that I am working on to test out a few
things and get scripts functioning like they should as well as making sure everything is working script wise so I can just focus on the design of the main project that I am
currently thinking about doing. Nevertheless, the hard part is getting things organized as well as working on quest scripts and the quest in general. What I am basically working on is a new Stronghold like the ones that was in Morrowinds and adding a few of them through out Oblivion Because I find it strange in finding all these abandoned forts and not finding a single fort standing that is still in use. However, what I want to do is add in a few small Villages and a few Forts and one big Stronghold hence the title of my website. Nevertheless, right now that hard part is redesigning the website and coming up with a story for it as well as a plot and rewards for each mini-quest and the main quest of this unofficial expansion set for Oblivion

The sad part is finding a good site design for the website since all I am using is a basic frames type design. I like to try to keep things simple as possible as well as an easy site interface. In addition, I am trying to balance this with my social life as well as my Full time Job.

I am also currently working on a plug-in for a Training Dummy because I did not find one that I liked out there. I am using a creature as the training dummy with a script i wrote that is working perfectly keeping me out of combat and allowing me to stop practicing and quickly repair my bows damage then go back to archery practice To work around the arrow issues where you cannot retrieve the arrows back. I have written a few more scripts to go with The Training Dummy mod.

Nevertheless, take in mind this mod is still a BETA

Tweaked the scripts for the bow a bit to add a more of a RPG affect to it making it do that when you find the bow it becomes summon able.

The bound bow scripts makes it so that once the spell has been cast you can no longer cast the spell until you reabsorb the bow by UN-equipping the bow.
IE When you UN-equip the bow or the timer runs out the bow gets removed from your inventory and the spell is given back to you. I placed message boxes to add more of a RPG affect.

Tweaked the enchantments a bit on the bow to add more realism to the mod as well as fixing a few issues with the code

Tweaked the scripts for the arrows fixing a bug with the arrows, where when you got down to 1 arrow you had to keep going into the inventory to reequip the arrows when they are added back to your inventory. When adding the arrows back to your inventory they are automatically equipped.

Added a script to the bow where when you equip the bow it added 1 training arrow to your inventory and automatically equips it. All arrows removed from your inventory when the bow is unequipped

Fixed knocked back issue with training dummy from critical hits by removing the weight from the arrows, removing all spell affects, and tweaking the speed of the arrows.

The Training dummy for now is a Goblin that I written a script for to keep it out of combat mode and to just site there and take a beating without losing health.

*Note* I can’t seem to kept the Training dummy from being knocked back when a critical hit with a arrow is done

The training arrows does 0 damage to any target you hit with them as well as replaces itself by adding a new training arrow to your inventory when it strikes a liven target.

**note** if you miss and hit none liven object the arrows are gone forever (I cannot figure out how to get the arrows to stay in the world after you launch them.

Instead of doing damage, the Training bow restores five health points to the target.

***note*** Even though the bow heals damage instead of doing damage, it still considered a hostile attack

I am looking for new NIF files for a skeleton for the training dummy as well as textures for it.

I need a chain doll version a spell practice version and the two target versions

That way once I have it set up the way I want I will replace all the said objects in the game with my training dummy versions
