Chorrol.com _ Fan Art _ ESO Housing Videos

There are many here who do not play ESO (yes I"m looking at you, SubRosa, and at you, mirocu!) who might enjoy one of the most enjoyable features of the game. As I stated in my post over in the ESO category, my housing guild hosts contests for the most creative decorating in the game. Contests are based on particular themes, and I've entered two of them since joining the guild over the last winter.

One of the guild officers was kind enough to come to both my entries and videotape them, she posted them to the guild's YouTube page.

I hope once I figure out how to do the same on my Mac, I"ll post more of my other homes as well (as I get them finished, that is!)

This was for the contest at the end of February. The theme was Party Houses, for DDA's first anniversary. It had to be a place where people could party and have fun. Julian volunteered her Sleek Creek home for this one. We had tons of help, from Grits, Acadian, Gosse, and Bear (the last two are friends we met in game and are known to more than one Chorrol ESO player). Their help and suggestions are much appreciated by both Julian and I!

We will likely leave this house the way it is because Julian enjoys it so much. It really suits her ESO persona.

Wonderful - and looks even better in person. Sleek Creek is such a neat house to begin with and you really did a great job!

And this is for the Camping to Glamping event, held on Easter Sunday. Phae volunteered her house for this contest, as she already was decorating it as a campground. So we took it to the max and renamed it the Thistleleaf Clan Reunion Campground. Be sure to stop by the rotmeth brewery and sample the offerings - there are three different excellent varieties ready for consumption there.

If you have any questions about any of the furnishings, or the decorating process, please feel free to ask!

Enjoy!

And be sure to check out the other videos on the DDA channel! Some really awesome stuff there!

That house in the first video looks incredible.

Looks like she's got some pets in vid #2. smile.gif

Thank you Renee! It's beyond anything Julian and I ever created in Oblivon (via our own mods) . . .

I am thinking of trying to figure out how to record video in game on this rig, then we'll go back on a nice sunny day to both places so you can see more detail.

And yes, there are pets - specifically cats - in both places. These two homes have slots for up to six pets, and I just can't help maxing them out!

Time to update this, I see . . .

Delphinnia from my housing guild has been kind enough to continue making videos of my homes.

Many of Chorrol's ESO players are already familiar with my https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lYK6y3QWb4, located at the Princely Dawnlight Palace, a huge domicile that has been a real challenge to decorate. However, I am especially proud of the way it has turned out. The text in that video is taken from a very short story I wrote to provide the design backstory for the Garden contest May 2018.

Then there is my most recently completed project, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoAdBeMD42k. It uses cardinal05's add-on Essential Housing Tools (EHT) to provide FX (mostly visible in the second half) and animations as well as improvements in the ability to place furnishings and build structures. I had a great deal of fun building this one. Oh, and that's my Maz, all dolled up, pretending to be the priestess. Ironic, really, as she is the closest to an atheist of all my toons. Maybe that's why she didn't mind the bit of role playing.

I finally purchased the Grand Topal Bay home, which is basically an island with a volcano and some Argonian (Murkmire style) structures that create a tropical island resort feel. I really struggled with how to decorate this place, but seeing this http://digitalblasphemy.com/preview.shtml?i=floatinggarden2k191 pretty much gave me no choice. I call it my https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_foW1WDknSg&list=PLA3iDPQvH6r85L0kaneBHZ8ZvfNurTFp9&index=17&t=0s and it's simply a place for my crew to go to decompress between questing campaigns. My Khajiit is currently in the last zone of his Gold progress and will likely be the next one to relax there . . .

Once again many thanks to my guild Delphinnia who created this amazing video.

A delightfully inviting tropical getaway! tongue.gif

Love the cat on the dock, and the wicker lanterns. It is a relaxing tropical paradise.

I have loved your Princely Manor since you first started with it; but your "Chapel of Duality" was one of the most exciting transformations of one of the most boring houses in the game that I've seen yet! Awesome job, Haute!!!

I absolutely Love the little "shipwreck" story Delphinia added to the beginning of this vid!!! You did an amazing job on your Topal Bay, I loved it! (and now I know where I can get someone to make me those ramps, laugh.gif )

Your castaway resort is gorgeous! What a fun video with the shipwreck story. Beautifully done!
