 Thieves Guild quest w/ gray fox, what do i do???? |

Sooo im doing the extraction key quest in the thieves guild where you have to find the key shaped arrow from Bravils castle magician. *SPOILER* i have found the secret passageway in the magicians room and have gone through the dungeon but i have been stopped at a door that requires a key. I think it is on the magician but i have never seen him before and i can only kill him outside the castle so waiting in his room does not work. Any ideas?

If you look at your map, there should be another passage to explore that will lead you to him.

thanks i saw the way where you go underwater but i didnt think it led anywhere. I was in combat at the time, so..

It's not an easy door to find, and it's not way at the bottom, it's like 20 feet under water. It took me like a half hour to find the freaking door.
