Made one of my rare forays (due to hearing loss) into music listening today. Chose not only one of my ultimate favorite pieces of music, Beethoven's seventh symphony, but a favorite interpretation of said work, led by Klaus Tennstedt.

I'm still listening to Alice in Chains a ton, but I've got something different that I am going to post. In the TESVI Predictions thread on these forums was talk about tone and such, which got me thinking about the Daggerfall soundtrack. I personally think the tones for all the TES games have been quite good (even though I enjoy all of them, there aren't that many things that I think all 5 of the main entries have done well). But I don't think any of them beat Daggerfall. The tunes let you know full well you're in for some real adventure in different ways.
But I think what stands out most to me are a few of the dungeon themes. They are incredibly atmospheric and foreboding. I was actually pretty blown away for how immersive they were for a game from 1996. I'll post which ones are my favorites later, but for now, if you were wondering where to find high-quality recordings of the soundtrack from outside the game, I've got you covered. I think there are a couple variants of other tracks that are missing, but this is a very satisfying list. BEHOLD THE GLORY THAT IS THE DAGGERFALL SOUNDTRACK.
