There was a mod for Morrowind that allowed you to skip the entire character creation process.

I think this process will be cool in Oblivion, but I won't want to see it 100 times either.

I hope this gets modded before to long.

Unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start as far as doing it myself.

you won't need to... The devs have confirmed that you can save in the opening dungeon just before you finalize everything...

EG, you save before finalising and just load that file ever time you want to start new game. You do everything again then save as a new file...

oh, SWEET! that rocks. But I will still go through the full character creation process at least a dozen times, if not in the twenties, then again I am considering writing up a walkthrough/faq/guide to it either somewhere in here or on gamefaqs.com .....not sure if that will make a link...if so that wasn't my intention

Hmmm...I hope you are right that you will be able to change everything.

I last heard that you will be able to change your skills and birthsign that way but not race.

as far as I know, for the first part you have no race and can't change to the 3rd person... You could do it on MW at the end of the char creation process, it just didn't take as long as OB's will to do from the start... Thus the ability to save just before...
