Persephone 1.0 is nearing the end of her run. She has almost completely explored Skyrim, and done the quests she is going to do. So in anticipation of restarting her as version 2.0, I have been tinkering with ideas for new outfits and new playstyles. I do not want to do the exact same thing all over again. So Persephetwo is definitely going to do some different things. For example, I know she is not going to use a ward and absorb health. I think she will be using a bound bow for a ranged weapon instead. Likewise, I am leaning away from using a two-handed sword again, and instead doing a sword and shield fighter. Finally, I want to get away from the white outfit, and go with something much darker. In keeping with that, I have been experimenting with darkening her hair, as that works better with the darker armors.

Eisen Black with the ghostblade, and dark hair

I love the look of this. Eisen Black again, but this time with zzjay's plate helmet, and a runed Nord Hero sword. I love how her eyes glow from the darkness under her helm.

This really excites me too. Dark hair with zzjay's plate armor, with one of my Matherian shields and the runed Nord Hero sword

The same plate as the last one, but with the original white hair instead of black

The former Eisen Black with white hair

A closer look at the Runed Nord Hero Sword

Does anyone else have suggestions for armor/clothing and weapons? I have gone through quite a few possibilities already, only to discard them. For example, the Alfheim Robes, SPOA Silver Knight Armor, Drow Armor, Witchplate, and Black Scout Armor, so those are out. I have been using the ebony shield to go with the Eisen Black armor, but it would be nice if there was another black shield I could use. But I cannot think of one.

I am also thinking of making whichever sword she uses a bound one rather than a regular weapon. I might even tinker with taking the Runed Nord Sword as a base, and applying a ghostly effect to it like I did with Malediction. Or even the same ghost effect that the Ghostblade has. I wonder if the glowing runes would remain?

Hmm, I can’t think of anything better than what you’ve already found.

I love, love, love the dark hair and runed sword. I think pic 2 and pic 3 are equally awesome, and I would go with whether you want to add red to her look or not. I’m a big fan of pauldrons, so zzjay’s armor is one of my favorites. The Eisen black looks a little more feminine and refined to me, which is also a plus for Persephetwo. Love them both!

Persephetwo looks just as lovely as in her first unlife!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, especially on the hair! I am liking the darker hair quite a bit. The white hair gives her brighter, 'gooder' look. But the darker hair (really it is a grey, though I could go actual black), lends her a more brooding, mysterious appearance.

I keep looking back and forth between 2 and 3. At first 3 really captured my imagination. But the more I look at 2, the more it is pulling ahead as a dark horse (all puns intended). What I am noticing is that the pauldrons in 3 give her a bulkier look, which doesn't feel right for me for Persephone. I rejected the witchplate and SPOA armor because they both have a heavy, almost clunky look, and the vanilla ebony armor was right out for the same reason. The Eisen in 2 has a much sleeker look, which feels more right to me. That helmet really works for me, and I might darken the texture some to better match the Eisen Black if I go that route.

I just tried the zzjay plate in 3 without the pauldrons, and the long sleeves are just too grey and dull looking. I tried with the scarf, which adds some color, but it is just no replacement for the pauldrons. So it is zzjay plate with pauldrons or none at all.

But it will still be a while before I have to make a decision. PersepheOne still has Solstheim to explore.

As much as I enjoy P-10 v1.0, makeovers are always fun and exciting, and I very much look forward to v2.0.

As far as my humble two septims. . . picture #1 jumps out and grabs me hands down over all the others. I love everything about it: no helmet, the dark gray hair color in a loose style, that gorgeous armor, what looks like an ebony shield. The only thing from some of the other pix I prefer is the ruined nord sword over the ghostblade.

My two cents: Those shields need a coat of grime, and the paint needs to fade. The benefit of the dark armour is that she gets more attention to her face, and the bright shields take it away again. I'd give her a much toned-down copy, as it looks more "real" than the ebony one.

She looks comfortable in either set of armour but a hint of colour removes the idea that it's a monochrome image, and she really is white-skinned. So I'd go with the zzjay (or find a way to add a bit of muted colour to the Eisen).

But that's for a "working" armour. Find her an elaborate "dress" armour for the special events, where she needs to look impressive!

I really like the shape of the Eisen Platte, but hate the bright scrollwork on it - the texture of zzjay's plate is more suited to her darker look. Ditto on the Runed Nord Hero sword. If you're going to go dark, may as well go all the way. I also agree with ghastly on the shields, that "old" ebony shield in the first pic goes better with z's plate.

Is there any way you can take the Eisen Platte mesh and overlay it with z's plate texture? Combining the two in this way would make it really "shine" as P-10.2's go to armor! Making the Runed Nord sword ghostly would be cool, but I keep thinking of a black-as-midwinter-night sword with even blacker runes on it as the weapon of choice. All that black with her pale skin would really make her broody and mysterious, IMHO.

Unless I come across something else, I am going to go with the Eisen Platte Armor ebony-looking shield, and bound Nord Sword. The monochrome image is just what is right for her. Color is for the living.

I'd like to use another shield - as I have used the ebony/light black shield copy I made with lower stats plenty of times already. But I cannot find another black shield that isn't too big, or with the right look. Same with the sword. Though at least the runes I added to the sword tweak its appearance.

I also love the glowing eye in that second shot. On the armors - I have to like the colors of the second choice. It pops the eye to Persephone no matter what else is in the shot; and makes it hard to pull your eyes from her when the rest of the background is monochrome.

On the black shields - Daedric is black, isn't it? and it might have a hint of red to match that little red flag on her shoulder, lol.

The glowing eyes are from the vanilla game. They are either called Demon Eyes or Daedra Eyes. I am not sure which of the two they are. Of course you have to use a mod to make all the eyes playable to use them.

In the end I went with the black outfit, because the colored ones look too 'lively' for her. She is dead, and muted colors suit her existence better, in a symbolic way.

Yeah, I see your point. What if it was just the red flag on her shoulder and a Daedric shield? That would just barely add a tinge of color, but still excite the eye to her; while keeping her dark theme.

That is awesome that those eyes are vanilla! I wonder if just adding them to each race folder would work?
